It’d be sweet to win big tomorrow and then knock off Ole Miss. Could do wonders for recruiting. Just look at what one dominating win over Mizzou has done. We’ve heard more about recruiting and visitors this week alone than we have the rest of the ‘22 recruiting calendar combined.

The way the team starts out tomorrow will tell all of us a lot about where they are and where we want them to be. If they come out over confident start slow and make stupid mistakes that will tell us they are young and undisciplined and still living on last weeks win. If they come out and look confused at the line of scrimmage on both or either side that tells us last week was a fluke and we have a long way to go. If they play a close hard nose game that means they are learning. If they come out and take care of business and look sharp that will tell us they a really on the right track. The first few series will tell us and the coaches more than many can imagine about this team.

Oh, and tell her to call my wife for tips on how to ditch an ornery husband for a bit, WITHOUT running down a cliff!

But seriously, glad y'all are having great time and super glad that she seems to be doing well.

Honestly? We need to beat South Carolina.. but
I'd be excited with just giving Ole Miss a good game. We shouldn't really be able to hang with them, so making it a close game with a great atmosphere (for recruits watching) would be a very good sign for us at this point.

We are skull ******* Ole Miss. They have a trigger happy QB, a decent RB and Pac12 level defense that only has 5 guys in the box. 5-2 on the way, book it.

Our defense is better than theirs. Ole Miss was overrated just like Arkansas. They have plenty of holes to fill. That game will come down to whether our offense is hot. Heupel knows how to beat Kiffin, but Kiffin has never faced Heupel with such a big QB advantage. Though, if Hooker continues on his current trajectory maybe it isn’t as big of an advantage as it seems right now. Let’s just smack SC this weekend, then worry about Ole Miss.

Yes!!
Of course the perfect combo is always desired, but if I had to choose between getting recruits through great salesmanship or getting kids because we just keep putting up wins?
Haha, don't think many would struggle with that choice.
