So here's my covid story. Wife was vax in January (she works at erlanger) I was vexed 6 weeks ago today (j&j).wife got what seemed like a cold Thursday night, Friday morning still coughing so she stayed home, but no fever and no breathing issues. Wifes boss calls her around noon Friday and states she just tested positive(boss is also vaxed). Wife goes to get tested and it comes back negative even though they both have same symptoms. So my thought is one result is wrong. I get home test from CVS and the wife is positive and I'm negative. And I'm negative Saturday and Sunday with zero symptoms. Wake up this moring with a sore throat...positive. went and got a rapid test at Erlanger Express to make sure. Positve. Now I'm home for 10 days. My symptoms are sore throat, slight cough, stuffy nose and tired. No fever and oxygen levels are good.

If not for covid being here I would have thought sinus issues.

You should both get boosters once you're feeling better. She likely got the Pfizer vaccine and they've seen the double dose wane over time in some people as early as 4 months. Not completely it just weakens. You should seek out Moderna. It proves to be the more robust of the 3.

How's this for a Covid effect? My wife was visiting her Mom yesteray in a nursing home and her mask kept riding up her face and got into her eye a couple of times. This morning she had an ulcer on her cornea and went to the Dr. They think she's got a staph infection in her eye from the mask.

It was a paper mask issued by the nursing home where my Mother-in-Law lives. Obviously, we can’t definitively say that’s where it came from, but it’s the only time my wife can think of where something got in her eye.

Being intubated and then requiring ecmo is the worst part of covid imo. Having two very large IVs in your body pumping oxygen into your bloodstream while you can’t really move in bed anywhere from a week to several months is absolutely brutal. Can’t imagine having to go through that.

Where did it say the deaths were all unvax? It attempts to tie them but I didn't see the direct quote that all those deaths were of unvax people

So there is no full reporting on the status of those who died? If that's true then your statement is still false and there's no way to know what could have been prevented. Simply showing the vax rates per county didn't tell you who died

I’ll change my comment….I have no way of knowing if any of these deaths could have been prevented, it’s my personal opinion that the majority of them would not have died had they been vaccinated.
