I was pissed at him after the Pitt game. UF showed me a little something, and Mizzou showed me a little more. I'm not all in, but Heupel is slowly moving me into his corner

I mean it's a small sample size still. Ultimately we need to see that it's not a fluke first year thing, but I think what Heupel did really well when he arrive was got the guys to play together (and not just in football). Cause ultimately the teams that are juggernauts now started somewhere, and it wasn't with the elite talent out the gate. Ya have to start playing together and then success will come from doing that.

Pruitt may have had more talent on the squads he fielded, but if they aren't playing together it doesn't help. The OL I see helping up folks, their QBs and their RBs and each other...didn't see that under Pruitt saw the opposite almost.

Stoops is 2-0 against Heupel’s offense. That game, and Ole Miss, are probably games we’ll be favored to lose.

After 5 games the team is already over 1k passing and 1k rushing. We'll surpass last season's total in rushing with just 140 more rushing yards.

Need to get some D linemen for next season... we are losing quite a bit most likely, and with how fast this O runs, we were getting gassed yesterday before the end of the first half... If we don't get some depth on Defense, it won't matter how many points we score next season.

If Hendon starts the year we are 4-1 at minimum. Two more games under his belt going into Florida and you have a completely different game.

Maybe. He has gotten better and better every game. He didn’t enter game 1 in that status. I expect he’ll continue until he’s a virtual weapon by season end and project great things for next season. I also know that “get him the **** out of there” will be directed at my television again…more than once.

This is excellent. Many pointed out how everyone assumes he runs a pass happy offense but he actually runs alot more than people realized. Plus he plays to our strengths. We don’t have the QB who is an all world passer but he has Hooker playing well with what he does best.

Pay Garner and Banks their money. Keep them here and happy.

The d-line plays with more grit than any since the mid 2000s.(not the best since then).

I want every coach retained for next season. But I want Banks and Garner here until they retire. I'm hoping to say that about Heup at some point. He's off to a good start.

Banks is doing some NFL level scheming with a bunch of unproven kids - and getting them to execute it well much of the time. Can't wait to see what Garner's D-line does against Bama and UGA - want to see how well they hold up. That will tells us a lot about the future and what to expect in recruiting.
