I hate to go all @Catbone on this, but I think this is Georgia's year. That defense is legit and their offense is good enough and will improve when they get more playmakers back. I will say that when I make these types of predictions, I am almost never right, so you all can take solace in that simple fact.

I'm still waiting a bit.

Clemson isn't very good right now, and UAB, South Carolina & Vandy aren't exactly great measuring sticks. Next 4 games for the dawgs will tell us how good they are, Arkansas, @ Auburn, Kentucky & Florida. If they come outta this stretch still undefeated then I think they'll be a playoff team.

Their new spot is nice. It's just down the road from their original location (River Arts District). Very industrial area, right by the skate park.

But it's tough to beat the original after tubing down the French Broad...get off, cross the train tracks for some beer, cornhole, and free peanuts

Might as well come out of the closet, Byron. You have multiple Georgia players on your team in the fantasy league. I congratulate you on how well you’ve played the long game.

cerveza mas fina del rio Stench Broad.

It’s just utterly ridiculous that he is saying the reason the past was dropped was because the guy 5 yards away was too close….and yes, he should’ve been deeper on the route, but the ball hit him in the hands.

The conversation should’ve started and stopped with “while wide ass open a very catchable ball hit him in the hands and he dropped it”.

He dropped it cause he took his eyes off of it as he was trying to run before he had it secured.

What's sad is I bet our receivers are the most wide a** open receivers in the league too. No one is asking them drop in over shoulder JG dimes as they're being whacked. Literally just loft a pass to a guy 10 yards from the nearest physical object...
Heuple is definitely getting people open. We have not even scratched the surface of the explosion this offense will have.

Horrible schedule so far. Even their "good opponent" Clemson both lost to NC State and could only squeak by Ga Tech lol. 3 FBS games...averaging 12 pts/game.

Let's see them a real team first UF and Arky will tell us a lot more.

Yep. Georgia Ole miss and Bama. Wouldn't surprise to see them drop one more
Probably, but man I would LOVE for Arky to throw a wrench in this whole messed up system. It's about time for someone to disrupt this repetitive league. Go ahead and WHIP Bama and UGA, 95% of CFB would be rooting you on.

Ofc it would be the ONE season Clemson falls off the daggum cliff, Bama looks beatable, and same for OSU. They've been waiting for a major down season from everyone else and that's what they have going for them so far. Don't see the elite QB + elite team out there...but I still have faith they'll blow it somehow.

Lo siento que apesta. Pero al menos no eres intolerante a la lactosa. Dios bendiga a esa gente.
we were at Foundy last weekend. most relaxing time ive had in two years. my peeps. everything distanced, responsible patrons wearing masks, everyone wore them, no quarreling or whining. Excellent beer.

The drove to Hot Springs to Pillow Brewery. Listened to some pickin' and grinnin'. Soaked in the tubs, ate some Mexican food.

Sucks this is even a thought vs Mizzou, but if we beat them without Hooker and Cooper, that would be monstrous.

Not sure how much I even trust us vs USCe without those 2. Our defense has been good at times, but not sure I'd trust them to shutdown an SEC team for 4 quarters either. And we've seen the rushing game without Cooper, such as vs TN Tech. This feels like the absolute worst 4 game stretch to be without either and especially both

Vol Calls this week was mostly a filibuster. Bob & Josh spent half of Josh’s time talking about the targeting rule and then Brent and Josh spent the other half talking about how the recruiting calendar has changed. At the very end Bob asked Josh about the QB situation. Josh said Hooker had been doing a little more the last couple days but implied he is still limited. He didn’t say anything about OTJ’s eyesight.

Freak had the Tennessee-Pittsburgh game in the week 2 lineup and I took Pittsburgh. I tend to lean toward the team that has the best QB and after Bowling Green it was obvious to many at that point we were going to have issues at QB. I was sweating that pick though because I was afraid either Hooker or Bailey would come into the game and then all bets were off because at that time we didn’t know what we might have with either. I would rather win the game than score in the picks contest so I figured I had a win-win situation with my pick.

I’ve developed 3 models for the weekly picks contest based off the format I posted last week. I have a FBS/FCS model (258 teams) which includes all games and uses Sagarin’s strength of schedule for adjustment because he ranks all teams. The 2nd model is FBS games only and uses ESPN’s strength of schedule ranking. I use a 36 point spread for all games and a 27 point spread for the FBS model. The 3rd model is a Power-5 only model and uses an 18 point spread. I used the ESPN strength of schedule ranking divided by 2 for the Power-5 model.

In the 3 models, Tennessee would be favored based on all games and based on FBS only games. Missouri gets the edge in Power-5 only games. We’ve both had 2 games, us vs Pitt and at UF, MO at UK and at BC. I think BC & Pitt are similar but Pitt was playing on the road and BC was at home. Western Michigan upset Pitt in week 3 after WMU had been blown out by Michigan in week 1. Vegas has UF as an 8 point favorite in Lexington.

We have some travel issues this week. They’re redoing the airport runway in Columbia so we’re having to fly into St. Louis and take a 2-hour bus ride to the campus. We’re traveling on Friday so that shouldn’t be an issue.

I usually don’t put in my picks until Friday night and not knowing who our QB is going to be I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I think this might be a perfect game for Bailey. Assuming our running backs can handle the ground game with a good bit of success we may not need a mobile QB. BC beat MO with their backup QB. The starter got knocked out for the season early in their week 2 game against UMass. Their backup is not considered all that good but he did enough to come away with the win. If I knew Bailey was going to start I’d pick Tennessee without hesitation. That’s just how I see it. jmo.

Decisions, decisions.
I'm in 3rd place overall and I just use my best judgment when picking the games. Life is too short to get caught up in making my picks too hard :):):)

Not necessarily subs but Tower Deli in east Nashville is the ****. As is Mitchell’s Delicatessen

Chorizo, Egg and Cheese burrito at Tower Deli was my go to in the mornings when I lived in East Nashville.

Smoked Brisket Sandwich from Mitchell’s was too good though. I used to live a block from there and would walk there all the time.
