Bro this eye sight issue for Milton is the biggest load of crap excuse I have ever heard of. He crushes it in practice and then sucks in games. His eyes change in practice and then magically he goes blind in games. Literally dying at anyone thinking his eye sight will magically fix him.
I don’t think anyone thinks this is the magic pill.

Not sure we have real proof he has been killing it in practice.

However his intermediate passing has been very good and wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case in practice too.

But to the original point, Not sure the eyes are the issue. And if that really is an issue then I have a lot more questions.

At first blush - yep.

But has practice actually been like games? Does he get rushed in his face, tackled, hit, etc. while throwing the ball? Are they live? Don't know personally since I have not been to any for a few years. If he has been and still hit the receivers in stride in practice - absolute crap excuse. If he's worn a green jersey with pretend rushers and had all day to throw - not so much. Depth perception is impacted by movement, hits and stress. It's not a constant with a guy with vision issues. The new contacts are not likely to be as much help as LASIK as well. JMO.

If Milton's vision is so bad that it is causing him to look like **** in games, how did he dominate in practice to the point that he was the no brainer starting QB as far as the staff was concerned? Surely Hooker and Bailey weren't that much worse than a blind dude?
You are making assumptions off very little information….. I think the QBs situation played out exactly the way I told everyone it would…. Milton did best in practice so he started the opener…. Hooker was definitely number two…. Bailey had struggled badly and wasn’t in the running for playing time…. I don’t know why Milton struggled in games but it is why Hooker is our starting QB going forward….

That's my concern too. If Jefferson is out then it's over. Whether or not that happens pregame or at some point during the game, the second he's ruled out it's over.

I think the big challenge for Arkansas will be picking themselves up and healing quickly after running up against two of the better (maybe the best) defenses in the SEC in back-to-back weeks.

Unless somebody knows something more recent - as of Tuesday both Jefferson and Burks were expected to start Saturday according to Arkansas sports media/blogs. UGA is the heavy favorite at -18.5 with O/U of 49.

Deep ball struggles illustrated.

It's a WR problem. Those passes are always low completion and our guys have been dropping perfect ones from every QB. If we can find a way to get Warren deep we might solve it because our TE is the only trustworthy reciever we've got atm. WRs need to start showing up -- we are at the point in the season where those sophomores and freshmen need to start showing something.

Dont have much to report this week….. this should tell you where my guy rates as far as status with the team…. He is on the team bus right now getting ready to head to Missouri so he won’t be at the final walkthrough tomm…. The team flies up tomm afternoon…..He is very positive that Hooker will be our starting qb and hasn’t heard anything at all that would lead him to believe anything different. Parker Ball has taken some first team reps at center this week…. He doesn’t think he is starting and not sure if he will see the field much…. Just something he heard from a person that had been at practice. He also heard and this is not substantiated that Milton has been to the optometrist and had his prescription changed but he is not positive about that and has no details on how Milton has performed.
We will all be eyeballing his stats from here on out.

Your guy is either a nutritionist or equipment guy?

depends on two things.

1. GA stopping ARK's run game, which i think they can
2. GA's offense against a sneaky/better than you think Ark defense

GA isn't playing Vandy or USCe. this is the best team they've played since Clemson. so i'm intersted to see how much different/better their offense looks against a real defense.

and i'm also curious to see how Ark's running game fares against THAT defense.

i think it winds u a 2+ score game in the end, but i think Ark plays well for a while. GA just has too much talent in the end.....pulls away.

Clemson’s offense is terrible. You have to wonder how good is Georgia’s defense really?

He won the starting job and everyone said he crushed it in practice. It’s a big damn excuse.

We have 7 guys with a drop over 14% on the team right now.

3 of them are starting WRs.

So yeah overthrows have been rough, but ya also need to see your guys making catches on catchable balls. Ole miss by comparison

We only average 30 PA a game to Ole Miss' 34.7

It's going to be really, really physical IMO. Vegas isn't buying into Arky yet. I see a UGA win, an Arky cover, and like you - the under.

Which means it will probably be the opposite. lol
Only thing I'd be worried about is Georgia easing up as to not embarrass Pittman. This could lead to a late back door Ark cover, or extra garbage time points to push the over.
