I didn’t like that play. Btw the ball was always supposed to go to the guy he threw to.

I don’t know if anyone has noticed but a lot of times our guys go out and lock up on blocks and we have one receiver going deep.

For example of Payton’s TD, the other receiver was actually run blocking while Payton blew by wide open.

I didn’t think you could actually do this but I guess if you aren’t passed 5 yds deep you can?
Yep, a buddy of mine said that’s how Heupel’s offense works… one guy is the primary receiver, the rest are just decoys.

You absolutely have to plan a vacation for Christmas at the wilderness Lodge. That is where we stayed when we went for vacation around that time of year about three or four years ago. It was hands-down the best vacation we have ever had there and maybe anywhere. Just really sets you in the mood for the holidays and it’s beautiful. Wilderness Lodge has that Christmas feel to it.
We did this about a decade ago when my oldest had just turned 5. She loved it and it was really a neat experience. It was my first time at Disney and I did not want to go, so I insisted on the wilderness lodge. You’re right - with the Christmas season (we went the second week in December), it was just really special

From what I've seen that's not exactly true. They typically pick a side...sometimes that side may only have one WR and sometimes it may have extras. I don't think anyone is ever just a decoy as the QBs still can go through their progressions, but on most plays which side of the field they are targeting is predetermined.

That’s the same time we went…2nd week of December. The Wilderness Lodge is perfect for Christmas time…multiple trees decorated with cozy fireplace in the lobby and rocking chairs to sit in while you sip your coffee. Loved it!

🎶 A couple guys in first class on a flight / From New York to Los Angeles / Kinda making small talk, killing time / Flirting with the flight attendants / 30,000 feet above, what could be Oklahoma / Just a bunch of square cornfields and wheat farms / Man it all looks the same / Miles and miles of back roads and highways / Connecting little towns with funny names / Who'd want to live down there, in the middle of nowhere? 🎶

it truly is incredible how they are able to make south Florida feel like somewhere in Colorado or the north east and a " traditional winter wonderland". Even at all the resorts and down-town Disney springs they really make you feel like its about to snow in 65 deg weather lol

New nug: I usually wait till I have all the info I can get but this one made me laugh so I wanted to go ahead and share…. No…. This is not any excuse for Joe bc he has played horribly…. Just sharing what I was told….. Apparently Joe is really bad nearsighted…..His contacts had been bothering him so he hadn’t been wearing them…. He is being sent to an eye doctor this week to get his vision fixed

Shampoo is a "product"...college football is a family and friends tradition. You get emotionally invested in college football because of those deep emotional ties. If being a Tennessee Volunteer or a fan any other crappy program was just a "product", literally nobody would be going to those games..

All of which has precisely zero to do with whether a seat in a stadium is a product or not. Being a fan means you watch games on TV and post on message boards. Those things are free. As are family gatherings and traditions.

The shirt you wear and the seat in the stadium you buy, are products. When the product is priced too high, you don't buy it. It's simple supply and demand. That's business.

Jacket is mad because he feels he's being disrespected. It has nothing (specifically) to do with the price of the stadium seat.

I will add, however, that because a significant part of the price of a premium seat is a donation, there must be a belief in the importance of what you are donating to. Simultaneously seeing a program tank and feeling disrespected by the AD will absolutely suck the desire to help right out of you. That is still fundamentally a business problem though, and if DW stinks it up, it will ultimately require a business solution.

Looking forward to your weekly picks again!

The Great Danny White's Messing With Our Seats Fiasco will reorder a lot of priorities, not just the fans. You can choose to look at it as good, bad or meh. Your answer will probably be decided by how big the check is that you write - if you write one at all.

Probably a good thing in the long run and a pain in the arse for both sides right now. Change is a constant in life.

You were over Lakin, KS (Kearny County). Yes, I spent an inordinate amount of time this afternoon stalking Google Maps to find that landscape.

Kind of funny if you think about it... at first, if Donors/UTADMIN had ponied up enough money/support when things started to go sideways and got the right coach and people in place, we probably aren't in this position today and they aren't getting tired of bailing out the UTAD... they went cheap initially and are now literally paying for it...

I'd argue it's more the UTadmin than the donors. The academic side was taking money from the AD for years, then when things went south with Fulmer there weren't funds on hand (or more accurately they just weren't willing to spend them) to hire a big name coach.

I found the article below where the athletic department gave the university $10M about 9 months after hiring Kiffin. That's enough money to have hired a more proven coach. So I'd say it was more UTadmin being cheap than the donors not providing enough support.

UT has done a pretty good job killing its golden goose.
