Thanks man! We looked at that too. And the Towne Place suites at flamingo crossing! We’re open to all options. You are right, you aren’t in the room much. My eldest loves the pool so we definitely have to have a pool.

Nice! we are about 2 1/2 hours south and go to Disney a few times a year. We are actually headed back up in 2 weeks and are staying at the animal kingdom lodge, the grandparents are coming ($$) this time and wanted to do the whole Disney experience haha. With the amount of money families end up spending at the parks / restaurants / toys / parking at the end of the day if i get to save a little bit by staying at the holiday inn as opposed to the bigger resorts we usually go with that. I have friends that have year round passes and there parents have a timeshare at Wyndham resorts which we have stayed with them a few times. Now that place is prime time location if you aren't staying on property but I'm sure its $$$. let me know where you end up picking out ill be curious

What are the chances we can recruit the portal like Arkansas and Alabama does in Basketball? It worked WONDERS for them in a very short amount of time.

Football is a lot more difficult to do that, but with this +7 portal rule maybe we can take advantage a little?

Are you keeping your tix... or letting them go and waiting for a more attractively priced tiered package?

Waiting on what options I have. My best tickets will more than likely be available to others. I will keep a few I’ve been giving away in X1 because they will be more affordable and are good seats. Always kept those because I anticipated something like this happening.

ON IF THEY WORK ON MORE COMPACT, INTERMEDIATE ROUTES DURING THE WEEK OPPOSED TO THE VERTICAL PASS GAME

“Yeah, you’ll see a combination of stuff as we continue to grow offensively. In Year 1, you try to get your kids a base understanding of basic concepts of what you’re doing. You continue to integrate things into your repertoire, into your game plan, that are needed to attack certain things that you see defensively. Those things become a natural part of what you’re doing as you continue to grow. So just kind of an evolution of who you are and where you’re going as an offense."

Makes sense. We're letting a block go. My parents have had them for decades and used to give them to clients and friends. We would've pared down years ago, but every year UT has begged my dad to renew-- especially the last few years. For UT's sake, I hope the inflow compensates for the outflow.

I mean to be fair we are already taking advantage a bit...

Mohan, Mitchell, Terry, Tremblay all transfer guys contributing this year on defense.

McGrath is our kicker now

Hooker, Milton, Payton all contributing on offense this year.

Not to mention I have high hopes for Turnage & Hadden (both CB transfers).

My post wasn’t to hate on @volbeast33 i was saying that it’s insane a player has such a mental block that he just can’t perform in games.
Really? Ask Rick Ankiel or Chuck knoblauch or Steve Sax…. All of them had mental blocks keeping them from performing what we consider to be easy athletic tasks I feel with Milton he is to the point of aiming instead of just throwing ,hopefully he can get past it.

They would rather be Yale or Harvard instead of having decent sport teams. If they aren't careful, once Barnes leaves, basketball may go back to the dump. If Vitello leaves, then you can kiss baseball goodbye as well. Like you said, they need to get their **** together. I hate to say it, but no one cares about school lmao.

Eventually they will lose every fan, and won't make money at all, so at the same time, I don't care what they do because if they fail again, we can all just laugh at them.
I hope Barnes has a coach in waiting that he’s coaching up to be his successor because I don’t think the AD can do it themselves.

I agree but getting to that 8-4, 9-3 has proven to be difficult. It's a catch 22. You need players to get there. You need money to get those players. People with money are reluctant to spend it. People with money want to see wins. It's hard to recruit given our circumstances. We've been in the cycle we've been in for a very long time. We have to break it. The NIL is going to make it harder to climb out.

You can look at my post history, I've been very consistent. With each failed hire the path back becomes more and more difficult. The NIL is not helping us as it should. The university can't fund these players, they're relying on boosters that love the song "Once bitten, twice shy".

We can get to 8-4 and 9-3 consistently with Heupel. He needs to find a QB.

I don’t ever foresee a day where we compete for NC again. Not on a regular basis, at least. We’re so far from that that it doesn’t even register in my mind. UT flushed that down the toilet with every decision from the moment they decided to fire Fulmer.

But go 8-4, 9-3 with an upset here or there and maybe sneak into an expanded playoff down the line. Get there and then we can start talking about even attempting to climb that hill again.
