Also Blayne Toll a guy we were really wanting that went to Arkansas last season then transferred to Colorado in March is once again in the transfer portal (heading to his 3rd stop before finishing his sophomore year).

There is a reason 4 of our 14 commits are all OL guys, I could see this class of 32 (counting transfers) being one where we see as many as 8 OL guys in it.

Cade is only one likely gone. Carvin and Wright probably come back and Calbert hasn’t really played in two years so how can that be a loss.

This.

I think Carvin & Wright both could legit go from undrafted to drafted with another year here. Especially if we're pushing 8+ wins next season. Each has not used a RS and each has that "extra" year cause of COVID. Both could leave this year but I don't think either is getting drafted.

Would you take a chance on this DL? Just curious.

His playing time went down after Bobo left.

Honestly I'd much rather us take guys with 2+ years left. I feel like 1 & done options keep killing us. Previous staff (and Butch) seemed to think they'd find stars that had 1 or 2 years left to play...

I'm more willing to bring in another 3 star kid that's got 4 years and will be a hard worker with a walk-on mindset.

Exactly. I don’t think people realize how bad it is getting. Heup has to be the guy or we are in trouble.

I’ll respond to you and Invol because you guys are good posters along with a few others. Invol remembers when I said Pruitt had to be the guy or we were doomed. He wasn’t. We are doomed IMO once this occurred along with pissing off the hand that feeds. I understand changing from those sitting in the west paying 0. I understand charging more. They priced it poorly. Some may pay more to go but will never help with NIL and any other things after the last fiasco UNTIL they prove we are wrong about being doomed.

You are a big Disney guy right? We’re trying to go back in November since Covid ruined our trip. Can’t find anything on property. Any recommendations off property? We are looking at the Grove. Maybe the Swan & Dolphin.
Yeah! We are DVC members so we always stay on property. However, we want to stay at the Swan & Dolphin some time. It looks awesome there! Try to schedule it for after they have all the Christmas lights up… That was our favorite vacation there out of all the times that we have been.

What is the head space of a big money booster that just says "that's it, I'm not supporting the team I love anymore!" Seems like if you have that kind of money you use it to make the team better. Wouldn't you see it as a challenge? I almost feel like the boosters have let us down to an extent. Is that not why we have hired a slew of bargain basement HCs and our stadium has become severely outdated? Idk

It’s the administration and management and DW just lost some more faith.

One thing I was told was that Charlie Ergen was prepared to step up to the plate, particularly pertaining to NIL. That surprised me given what you've said in the past. He's always paid for advertising but I'm not sure whether to believe this.

The Ergens do support UT-- not always visibly and not as much as some think they should, given their financial position. Ditto other big-name families like the Andersons and the Kaos. A lot of their support is specifically earmarked for academics, endowments and facilities. UT's donor fatigue has been escalating. People are very tired of committing huge sums to support-- and too frequently bail out-- UTAD. A decade of bad decision-making wears on people, especially when the symptoms continue to negatively impact the university.

The pullback goes down to mid- and lower-level donors, who're wanting to earmark contributions for other sports and academics. Being discouraged from doing that doesn't go over well. Donors pushed hard for LNS renos -- which were more popular than Neyland renos. Donors won that one-- to a degree.

Thanks man! My dad is a DVC member and this past week we were suppose to stay at the Wilderness Lodge with him before Covid happened. Now we’re trying to find something on property but nothing is available. Damn 50th! Ha! We’re leaning toward either the Swan & Dolphin or the Grove.

Our colors look best with smokey grey range of colors. And agree our helmet is too traditional to pair it with a color scheme change,

LSU RB John Emery Jr ruled academically ineligible again despite appealing multiple times and lawyering up. LSU fans are calling the NCAA a corrupt organization

Oh the irony
Bahahaha! Odel was throwing fake $$$ and Wade is a great guy! Shoot, I wouldn’t be shocked if they just played him and said screw it. They don’t give a damn about the NCAA.
