Careful folks… one minute, your simply boiling your pot of bear pee, the next minute, you’ve started a disaster

Woman Charged With Starting Fawn Fire: I Was Boiling Bear Pee — Gizmodo
Off topic political comment incoming... But the state of California deciding its going to hold people who happen to start these fires accountable for all damages is absolutely absurd.

The state creates the world's largest game of jenga by completely mismanaging their forests for decades, and whatever poor soul happens to set it all ablaze is somehow fully responsible for the fact that the state is run by morons.

OK that's it.

I hope Ole Miss makes Saban sweat this weekend. I still think Bama wins but I do think it’ll be an interesting game. Also I’m pulling for Arkansas this weekend. Hate Bama and Georgia
I hope Bama gets boat raced. I hope Lane Kiffin is running wind sprints up and down the sideline in the 4th quarter.

Clemson, Oklahoma, Bama, and OSU all losing multiple games in a season is the best thing that could possibly happen to the sport.

It just all needs to work out in a way where Georgia absolutely does not win the championship.

Here’s some detail for those interested in lasik. I had a procedure about 2 years ago. My guy had done 98k eyeballs in Atlanta by the time I was in his office. That’s the guy I want to see. If I’m getting a vasectomy I want the guy that just does vasectomys all day erryday.

So after the initial visit where they make the calculations to correct your vision I later returned for the procedure. Doc said it would be 11 minutes in and out.

They lay you on the gurney and numb your eyes with drops. At the 1st machine they attach a suction to an eyeball and make the cut to create the flap. Do that for both eyes. Then wheel you to a 2nd machine where they peel back the flap and actually laser the cornea. It’s a trip you can smell your eyeball burning but be cool man. It took 10 minutes total that dude wasn’t lying.

Stand up and it’s like looking around underwater. Blurry and strange but already a slight improvement on my 20/500 vision. You now have to keep your eyes closed for 4 hours. Most people try to nap but your eyes water constantly and after the numbness wears off they feel like you have sand in them. I wouldn’t say it’s painful but it’s uncomfortable. Can’t rub them or get water or anything else in them as the flaps heal.

Wake up the next day and return to the lasik office. They test my vision and it’s 20/15 for both eyes combined and I had astigmatism. Unbelievable. Eyes still feel like sand is in them for another 7 days but vision is super sharp. Need to use steroid drops for a few days and regular drops for a few months to keep them moist then those phase out.

After wearing contacts for decades I noticed my new vision had so much more detail on objects far away. Because contacts are porous they don’t provide the sharpness at long distances. With lasik I can see leaf detail on far away trees I never saw before. Overall, totally worth it. Just go to a person who has had a lot of prior experience.

No offense, but we demised those guys that wore the birth control glasses.

I was going to wear my contacts the whole time. Then they gave us the safety briefing at eye exam/glass fitting time and told us if we tried to hide our contacts and keep them in while in bootcamp and went through the gas chamber day with them in, we could go blind or have serious vision issues because of that. I don’t know if that was completely true, but I wasn’t about to take that chance so I coughed them up.

Really hated those glasses. My parents brought me more contacts on graduation day and I threw those glasses away before I even left Great Lakes.

Does anyone else get the sads when you hear about a kid committing to another school and we're just sitting here like....
