ACTUALLY, maybe that is why they didn't want to play him in the UF game. How bad is HB?

And did he have eye problems at Michigan.

And why create the best QB prospect ever - size, athletic, ability, arm strength and then forget to create decent eye sight!!! LOL

I meant the whole season up until the point.

Sooooo did Coach Huepel put his ass out there knowing damn well Joe is nearsighted? Did Joe wait to tell Huepel? Either way that loss against Pitt is on one of them, and idc who, that **** pisses me off.

Should have figured that **** out before the season and maybe we would only have 1 loss if Hooker started the whole game against Pitt.

We could have also used the QB reps in preseason differently. Kind of got screwed by all this in a way.

Kind of confused and random ass timing.

lol - I can't. He's strung tighter than a cheap guitar. But is that as a result of having to compensate for the eye issues?

Watching Dak last night I saw it a few of times and he was wound too tight. But it was timing and fastball related. When it came time for the loft and leading a receiver he did it. Milton doesn't. He waits until the guy is already open for a long time and then throws his missile. That tells me he is a physical target thrower instead of a passing QB that leads guys open. Why would he do that? Either he can't be a real QB or he cannot see well enough due to a lack of depth perception.

We will soon learn if he adapts and gets better. If not, he's just a crap thrower of a football. JMO.

I mean if he's been practicing with his contacts and played the first two games with them then it would be a "new" problem. Sounds like he stopped wearing them recently because he's having issues. Didn't sound like it's been an ongoing thing, but wouldn't be the first time I've known of an athlete to lie about their eyesight cause glasses aren't cool or they don't like wearing contacts.

Who knows though. Maybe it's not "new" and he recently saw a Lasik surgeon and they got back good news that he was eligible to get the surgery. Could have originally wanted to wait until before the bye week or off-season to do it but with Hooker starting may think now is the time to get it done so he doesn't delay it any longer?

This is something I wouldn't share... Just going to cause a meltdown over something that may or may have not been impactful.

I just wish they would have found this out in the preseason. We could have used the QB reps in preseason differently and Hooker could have gotten more reps.

Even if they did...with COVID it may not have been a "need" case to get him seen.

I mean I had to schedule my normally yearly appointments 2+ months out this year cause of it.

Joe can cash in if this eyesight thing is true.

Get some unique glasses (like the ones "Wild Thing" wears in Major League).

When/if success follows on the field, and the local/national media inevitably pick up on it, sell a bunch of mock frames in that same style. All colors - black, orange, white, checkerboard. Time to make a killing.

$5-$10 a pair. He'll run out of stock.
