Bottom line is it’s a quarterbacks game. Here in the SEC and all throughout college football. NFL as well.

That’s why Clemson looks like a dynasty with Lawrence and are 2-2 with poor QB play.

Why Ol Miss who has a roster not significantly better than ours looks like a much better team and someone we all think we lose to going in.

Alabama is Alabama but even they don’t look the same because Bryce looks limited early on.

If we get a QB - we can compete. To what level, idk. As long as we’re signing Kalinin Perry’s and Brian Grants - not the level we seek. But we’ll be better.

Hooker ain’t it. Serviceable at best against mediocre teams.

Milton is genuinely bad. I don’t think his accuracy issues are anything that can be fixed. And all reading between the lines indicates he doesn’t put the time in to prepare.

No clue on Bailey but it’s not looking good. Although he’s stilll a young player so im not going to write him off thus yet.

No clue what the portal offers after this year but as much as I trust Heupel with QBs, I don’t have a lot of faith of us being a legit competitive team anytime soon. I’m talking probably another 2-3 years of losing to Florida before having any semblance of confidence that we can pull one out.

I’m just glad I recorded this game and took the wife out to dinner instead of wasting my night watching it live.

The talent level is atrocious. You have to ask yourself how many of these guys would be starting for Tenn teams in the 90s and early 00s. A couple? If any….

I don't hate the kid, but I got lit up when he first transferred here and I was already out on him. I trust Heupel, I don't trust Milton. He is better fit at a Liberty type school.

We are so thin that I’m not sure we can make it. The more injuries keep stacking up with a team already at 71 scholarships, the more I don’t think we can do it. We have to stay healthy and we are not doing that. It is a major drop off when Coop leaves the O line. If Baron goes down, we seem to have no pass rush. Our margin for error is so thin and we haven’t played Bama or UGA yet. Need this Mizzou win bad.

Depth is going to be a huge issue I agree, but I'm not as high on UK as I was after they struggled with SCAR last night. But Heupel showed me some things last night that pulled me back off the ledge a little. I still would like to see a little bit more focus on running the ball though. That drive before the Callaway drop, when we ran it 8 straight times down UF's throat was beautiful. I think we can beat the above mentioned 4 doing that.

I'm being extra about it due to the fact I got lit up saying I was wrong. If you read my previous messages, you'd understand.

I was really excited over the Pruitt hire. I thought he would be a great teacher that brought a ton of recruiting ties with him. Hindsight is 20/20 I reckon.

Rutgers sucks, Bruin. They play in a weak conference. If they played FL they'd have been skull dragged too. He's also in his 4th year. Was he better than Pruitt? Sure but there are 100's of coaches better than Pruitt. Is Heuple the answer? Who knows at this point. He's got potential. Let the man do his job. He's at a huge disadvantage with sanctions looming and roster already decimated. I don't know of any coach that could come in here and be successful immediately. That's why no big names would consider the job. They know they'd likely **** the bed here too.
