Yeah it was a problem coming in and I don’t like seeing the injuries piling up so fast.

Cooper Mays may be the most significant.

The offense is noticeably different when he’s not in the game

I remember the bad asses in the FF posting the Tombstone "bye" gif like we wouldn't miss anyone. Same guys that type "next man up" all the time because they think that's what they're supposed to say.

As crappy as our QBs are, the receivers are just as bad at catching the ball...compounding the problem. The scheme is good..we just have to wait till Heupel gets the players to execute it. It really is that simple. I think Banks also gets the most out of what he has to work with.

Surely to goodness there are some good players out there smart enough to see what they could do here.
I hope so. I hope we don't get hit with bowl bans or other restrictions.

We were a jimmy Callaway drop from having a shot. Some of y’all just stay overreacting. Heupel did fine tonight. We just don’t have the horses.

I think we would've faded regardless of whether or not he drops it. I honestly don't know why anyone is upset. We did far better than I thought we would. We were in the game for much of it and then we got out manned. That's the way it goes when you're 20+ players down against everyone you play (minus FCS schools).

Play calling has been good so I don't understand why anyone is arguing that. We have an issue at WR (someone has to break out and become the go to guy - well, someone other than Warren at TE) and we have an OL that is functional with Cooper but atrocious without him. Even so, we've had the opportunity to score constantly, execution has held us back. On defense, we've exceeded expectations.

OL can't be fixed quickly but the WR situation can and should improve by midseason. If not, we need to hit the portal hard for WRs.

Should be fun watching Tayven Start next year.

Hell maybe we can pull a QB from OSU or some other too school to come in. Keep trying

If only JH could find his Drew Lock here we could start scoring lots of points vs these elite SEC teams.......,

Oh wait.......

Never mind

We better not spend all week with Milton running with the 1’s if Hooker is out. We spent way too much time on him since he got here. Give the reps to Bailey and stop playing him with the back ups. Milton is terrible. At least let Bailey run with the ones and see what he can do. Milton is awful. Hopefully Hooker is ok and can play next week.
Milton should never see the field again. Its beyond embarrassing watching him

Guys our defense is really really good against stopping a traditional running attack. That bodes well for the rest of the season

Those people make what I call the “Equipment Manager fallacy,” which flows out of the “Super Coach” fallacy.

That is, once the Equipment Manager puts on a Power-T helmet, he should be an All-American… assuming you have the right guy as coach. Super Coach can coach up anybody and that’s who we coulda shoulda hired, if it weren’t for the bumbling administration of ours! Lol

When are we going to escape this hell we’re currently in where we look competitive for the first half against the big three (UF, UGA and Bama) only to turn around and get embarrassed the second half?

The story is always the same. Game is close coming out of halftime and inexplicably a horrific play occurs during the third quarter and we crumble. Tonight was Calloway dropping the pass on 4th down. We probably would still have lost the game since our defense couldn’t stop their offense but at least the final score would have been respectable.

Lock was erratic at Mizzou but he was also their entire offense. Mizzou had no one and even less. They performed better than their talent.

Been off here all night. My main thing through all of this: we will be good once we get guys who can flawlessly execute this gameplan. Along with that: our WR are a major disappointment. They have got to catch the easy balls thrown to them. Everyone shxts on our QBs, but the WR have not made the easy plays.
