Hooker is a decent #2, and may get us to 7-5 this year if we get a few breaks, but looking at that schedule for next year, the only shot we have of winning 8-9 games is Milton getting his issues worked out. Tayven Jackson can’t be expected to come in as a true freshman and make that kind of impact, and if Harrison Bailey is still here, I can’t imagine him taking that much of a leap. The transfer portal will be explored but you’re not going to find someone with Milton’s physical tools. Milton may never get his issues worked out, but it’s worth giving him more time to see if he can because I don’t see us making the kind of progress we want if he doesn’t.
