Exact same here. Most came back within a month certain foods tasted way off for many months after. Just recently have I noticed certain things tasting normal again. Oddly enough gasoline smells strange now. I pull up to the pump and it’s nothing like what it was before. Weird. Been almost a year since I’ve had covid.

Tested positive on Friday and just lost my taste last night. When did everyone else get theirs back? I already miss food.

My sense of taste was only 24-48 hours. My hearing - much bigger deal. Swollen ear canals for around a year off and on. Seems to be gone now.

I had Covid in December, lost both taste and smell. I still haven’t gotten both back all the way and it suxs for my line of business.

I started in 10, graduated in 14.

I figured....just F'ing with you. It has to suck being a Vols fan and never experiencing us being great. My entire life up to my late 20's we were one the the elite programs and were hugely respected. It hurts seeing it all go to shite in 13 years but at least I experienced the 80's, 90's and early 2000's.

SC fans should feel embarrassed to ever talk shite to UT fans. We would need decades and decades to reach their overall level of suck.

I never lost my sense of taste, but my sense of smell was gone for about seven months, then it slowly started coming back.

Thankfully I can't really smell really nasty stuff..it is the silver lining. The down side is I can't really smell the awesome stuff either. We went up to Roan mountain Saturday and it sucked because I love the smell of the spruce-fir forest, and I couldn't smell it at all.

So tomm is 14 days for me since my first symptom. Nothing was ever all that bad. More head cold/allergy type stuff which I still have remnants of, but I lost tatse and smell this past weekend. Super weird! Currently drinking 120 proof russels reserve barrel select and it tastes like water!! Lol

why not drink, water?
