Here is what I have seen happen from all the reports and from my guy…. The staff was not happy with the QB room in the spring…. They added Joe who they hoped would be the answer…. In camp which is different from fall practice…. They rotated the QBs at the start of camp….. near the end of camp…. They eliminated Maurer and focused on joe and Hendon as 1-2…. At the start of fall practice…. It became completely obvious that Joe was 1… Hooker 2…. And HB 3…. That is also the order of how good each looked during practice…. Practice takes away from Hooker a little bit bc his strength is by far running.Nobody said it wasn’t a fair opportunity. But it was clear Milton was the guy early. He was getting majority of first team reps for fall camp. This is not controversial
Very interesting indeed.Well, that would be nice but most people thought we’d be a 5-7 win team. But when it actually unfolds they still lose their minds. It’s interesting to witness.
The long game is that if you deliberately throw games vs FL UGA and BAMA to “rest” then you will lose the team, the fans, and your job.Trying to win games that we know we will lose by 30-50 points could hurt us down the line vs teams that could make us bowl eligible if we’re healthy. Gotta see the long game fella
Looked a lot better with the penalties this past SaturdayVery interesting indeed.
It seems like the heart takes over for most on Saturdays (after the game).
This game will not be close, it shouldn’t be close, and has no bearing on Josh Heupel’s future. The one caveat I’ll say to that is if we continue to get useless penalties.

Not this year. The fans are already gone, there’s 20-30,000 empty seats per game. His team would lose to those teams by 30-50 anyways. And his job is secure for at least half a decade regardless of what he does. The long game is that if you deliberately throw games vs FL UGA and BAMA to “rest” then you will lose the team, the fans, and your job.
Kind of odd that Heup has not mentioned this is his post game interviews but has mentioned Milton over throwing and WRs running wide open. Sounds like to me people trying to put the blame on anybody except where it needs to be on Milton and HookerWhen some of us went and ate at Billy Ratliff’s restaurant in Powell after the Pitt game, he told us the exact same thing. He said the WR group is what is hurting us the most right now. Said Joe is throwing to a spot that the WR is supposed to be on his route, and none of our guys are getting there, so it looks like Joe is always overthrowing it, when in reality the WRs aren’t getting to the spot they should be consistently. If this is true, then Joe is no doubt QB1 because he gives this offense the best chance to blow the top off if he can start connecting on the deep ball.
