Impressive!

At one point, Tennessee went multiple years without holding an FBS team below 100 yards rushing. I want to say it was 2012 all the way through to the bowl game against Nebraska at the end of the 2016 season.

We’ve started this year doing it in back-to-back games. When defense wasn’t supposed to be our strength. Well done.

Now just need to get a pass rush…

QB - Tayven Jackson
RB - Dylan Sampson
WR - Chas Nimrod, Marquarius White, Cameron Miller
TE - Brody Foley
OL - Brian Grant, Addison Nichols, Maurice Clipper, Masai Reddick

DL - Venson Sneed, Gio Davis, Walter Nolen, Darren Agu
LB - Elijah Herring, Kalib Perry
Secondary - Jourdan Thomas, Andre Stewart, Jeremiah Caldwell, Kody Jones

That’s 20 commits and puts us 228.41, which would have put us at 19 last year and 26 the previous year.


Took Jordan Phillips off since it seems he may be looking elsewhere and added Gio Davis because I don’t know any other DL prospects we are recruiting besides Nolen.

Seems like Darren Agu may be a strong possibility, plays edge so it’s a position of need in this class.

Kody Jones seems like someone that could flip to us depending on the year. BGS says 30% so I’ll take it.

Need another DL, and a couple of LB’s. Hopefully get some nice transfers. Fingers crossed.

Buddy. He can’t pass. He dinks and dunks and throws screens. Our staff was afraid to let him throw the ball over 10 yards on Saturday. He showed you why with the interception.

Dude has played 2 full seasons, never reached 2k yards passing. He lost his job for a reason. He can’t pass.

Imagine bragging that a guy who has played like 20 games more than the other 2 on our roster has more yardage 😂😂😂

To be completely transparent, he has played the most football, so he should have the most yards. I agree with what you are getting at, though. It's nonsense to compare Hooker to a wide receiver who requested to be moved from quarterback to wide receiver after just his first few days of practice.

Lol Hooker played for VT for 4 years and when they said he was coming here I said "why the hell are we taking him."

Certainly didn't want him.

We are comparing Hooker to Malik Cunningham….. he is awful…. 9-21-108 yds and 3 ints against Pitt last season.
