Agreed. What’s even more amazing is a coach making a ton of money that won’t even try to review a terrible spot when the runner is clearly beyond the line to gain. Even MORE amazing is calling a shotgun formation when we need 6 inches.

He conversed with Line Judge about the spot making sure it was reviewed by the refs.

It raises a red flag for sure. Hopefully that’s the last we will see of it. I certainly don’t like how undisciplined his team appears to be. 134 penalty yards is huge.

On no I agree in 4th and inches situations you never take the ball off the line of scrimmage, they should have snuck it. I’m just saying if they were going to go with that formation then hooker should’ve seen that end crashing and pull it out

2. Discipline. Having nearly 3 times the penalties as the other team is one of many ways to lose a game.
3. 4th and 1/2 yard with 5 minutes left and everyone with an IQ above 60 knew there was a 90% chance he’d call the RB up the center and guess what. They were right. The ball is turned over on downs and the Vols lose a very winnable game. That was a very Pruitt / Dooley type play call.

If Hooker would’ve started the game our Vols would’ve won by 10 or more.

Everybody on VN has been saying it should've been a QB sneak. Maybe, but I like the naked bootleg there. Unfortunately, I guess we'll never know.

Anybody know if Hooker was supposed to read those two guys crashing in from the sides, and keep the ball and circle around them for the walk-in TD?

Ok. I have seen 71 scholarship players this year twice. Is this confirmed somewhere or is this just a talking point off of Twitter?

If so, are we going to say we took a reduction of 14 scholarship players as part of our self-imposed penalties?

Wow. Thanks. Did not hear that (background noise and had volume down so I didn’t have to listen to the announcers).

So maybe a one year bowl ban and a 15 scholarship reduction will be our self-imposed penalty for NCAA infractions and we take 14 of those scholarship reductions this year?
