Why are we talking about Bailey when Hooker had a good game?

3 turnovers. 100 more penalty yards. Countless plays where we lost tons of yards like the punt returned for a TD that we ended up on our own 2. So much bad and we lost by a touchdown. Hopefully we get healthy and keep fighting. There is a lot to clean up

Milton may have all the tools, but he's not executing on game day. Hooked looks better on Saturday imo.

Bailey could be pushing to get PT, we will see him against TTU for sure.

Overall we played a full game despite all our self inflicted errors. I like what I'm seeing, just gonna take time.

Lol. Bailey wouldn’t have gotten 1/4th of the yards on the ground that Hooker got.

I’m pissed about the penalty yards. Other than that, the roster situation we’re in, so many key players out and lost during the game. They played their asses off and kept fighting. A Pruitt team would have lost that game 48-17.

You’re delusional if you’re going to be pissed about that loss.

Gonna be a long season. I suggest going out and enjoy fall Saturdays or be with your families. Much better than being miserable all season.

I'll agree with anyone on all the positives you can take away from this game. There are many, actually.

The negatives, however, still outnumber them.

And until that changes we're still X years away... No point in getting upset about it. This is the type of game I have expected to see from this year's team from the jump. I expect we'll see it again. It's still frustrating to watch us lose another game we could have won, if not for (fill in the blank reasons).

Special Teams is basically our best group.

Defense looks capable, but if the offense can't sustain drives or score points not sure they will outright win us a game.

Milton may have all the tools, but he would probably benefit more from a year to develop than Bailey. I think Hooker needs to be the guy, with this OL we will need a QB who can run it well.

Evans & Smalls going out hurt big time. They do so much better at hitting the hole hard and picking up blitzes.

Health is gonna be big all season, if we're healthy and play smarter we can win 4 or 5 more games.

The fight we showed after facing adversity

Overall playcalling and switching up the gameplan when Hooker came in


The Bad
OL, overall especially on the interior
DL overall, especially on pass plays
The second quarter again (ugh)
41 points and almost 400 yards allowed
Milton still too focused on the home run
5 sacks way too many
The officiating (this is not why we lost)
The play call on 4th and 1. You will never convince me that being in the pistol on 3rd or 4th and 1 or less is a good idea

The ugly
13 penalties for 134 yards, we will win no tossup games with this lack of discipline
-3 on TO, we have to start forcing some to win the tossup games
That pure garbage spot inside the five yard line on 3rd and 3. Ridiculously bad (again, not why we lost)

I am not as discouraged as I was halfway through the third quarter but this was a winnable game and it's very disappointing that we could not find a way. Pitt is a little better than I thought and Pickett played better than I hoped or thought he would. He was really good in the second quarter and start of the third.

I still think we can get to 6, but I was at 7 before today. Not ready to throw in the towel at all. Our offense will get better and if we can get a few TO we can still win some of our tossups.

The boys played hard and there were tons of plays left on the field. Hard to overcome the penalties and injuries. Clean it up and onward.
