Right guy, right time kind of thing...plus Vandy tried to come off their high horse a little and give him some leeway, and the putrid off field stuff that happened due to doing that scared them off...imo.Regarding Vandy - makes you think that James Franklin was a really good coach to get that program on an upward trajectory.
If their OL and QB doesn’t improve they likely lose 1-2 more games this fall even in that terrible conference. They’re lucky they don’t play VT this year.To be fair— despite how much I hate saying this— I think UGA’s defense is very legit. Clemson will take a step back, but will still be made to look very good in a bad ACC.
Seriously?Presbyterian QB Ren Hefley throws FCS-record 10 touchdowns to lead Blue Hose to massive win
I guess UT got the wrong ex-Michigan QB
There's a long tradition of naming academic chairs and buildings after donors. This just didn't come out of left field. The transition of football from amateur recreation to a full blown academic discipline with dogma and academic politics traditional to academic departments is nearly complete. Plus the game makes money. Allen Tate weeps from beyond.Very few give for the sake of giving anymore. Something has to be named for them so everyone will know how benevolent they are.
Clark Lea’s presence on the sideline was worse than Mason when he was late in his tenure. Except this was game 1. Dude stood there from the opening kickoff in dead silence with a thousand yard stare. Arms crossed and I’m not sure he ever said a word. It was really strange. Not gonna lie I loved it though lol.
It's easy to group think..you want to pile on because it's popular to do so..then go ahead, or you could actually consider what I say, and why I say it.I know what the exchange was about. When I saw "he seems like a miserable person" you're who I thought of, sorry. If you feel you need to defend your internet honor to random nobodies, by all means continue posting, but really you're just proving my point. I'm going to leave it at that, but if you'd like the last word it's all yours.
I understand the academic side where some have devoted their adult lives to the school, but the "Peyton Manning Locker Room" was around the time it was be coming too much, and I think Peyton is great.
