I'm more comfortable with Theo at this point. Burrell is the one I'd like to see someone overtake. Nothing about his play really stands out to me except for how often he gets beat.

I was talking in general, ready to see them play. I wouldn’t be comfortable with either out there.

I’m glad we have a veteran squad back there so at least we have leaders on the field.

Somewhat agree but Theo is plenty fast and is a good overall athlete. He was explosive on Thursday. His aggression might get him in trouble at times but I'd rather that than for him to play softer.

Theo played arguably his best game in his career on Thursday. If he plays like that all year our defense can be better than we all think.

The only weakness in his game is coverage. Since he is really a safety, it's going to be difficult for him at times trying to defend shifty, usually smaller WRs with a two way go's.

I honestly don’t know why he didn’t see the field Thursday. Theo, Burrell, and KG were constantly getting burnt on flat routes by garbage BG receivers.
2nd post I've seen shading Theo. Didn't watch the same game...twice! Never been previously impressed with him but he beasted!

After watching the majority of the games today, anyone else feel even better about our game Thursday? I know I do, and I felt good about it to start with.

First games seem to always be somewhat sloppy and a lot of mistakes. Joe is still our QB and now we just got to hope we see a whole different QB next week and also better concentration from our WR's.

FF is full of threads that are just random thoughts by members too. Just because you have a thought does not mean you have to start a thread. This thread covers everything about football. Other threads in RF should only be for individual recruits
It's hilarious how the RF members react to some noob who comes in and starts posting random threads.

He broke up like 3 passes. He made some good plays sure but he also made a lot of those tackles trying to recover from getting fooled. I’ll have to go back and watch for myself but I constantly remember him being lined up on receivers that would get first downs.
And the 3 TFL'S? Almost forgot that stat existed after last season.
