The second quarter featured 7 offensive plays because BG dominated time of possession and was working our defense. If they had "figured out" the offense they would've stopped us the rest of the game.I think it does. It doesn’t mean they WILL beat it. But they’ve proven they can.
This offense is a gimmick - it’s like watching a 10 year old play Madden once they figure out the no huddle button. Bowling Green could not take advantage of it because of the talent and size disparity, but you saw in the second quarter what happens when things are “figured out” a little bit.
LMAOBullcrap...you are pissed at me because I am right. Call me whatever stupid little kindergarten putdown name you want, I have made no secret that I want Bailey to be rewarded for being loyal, and I sure as hell don't want him to end up in Mike Leach's hands.
I don't give a f what you think of me...I do want Milton to be great...but he isn't...he sucked. I hope since he is their daring that he kills it.
People at the game always get upset by open guys…. They don’t know what the progressions are and if he actually missed the guy are not…. Ex… if pre snap read…. He is suppose to throw the out and a guy breaks free down the middle…. He may never see that guy if is initial target is open.I couldn't see the receivers. That's one bad thing about TV. People say Milton was missing wide open guys, but nobody watching TV could see that. I have no idea what Hyatt was doing when he wasn't targeted
Everyone at the practices tell a different story….. no Joe Milton and Bailey was 3rd in the spring…..heupel brought in Brandon winbush from Norte dame and named him starter in similar scenario…. He benched him pretty quick for Gabriel a true freshman. He won the job when he signed. Heupel is invested in fixing him.
When your holding the ball 3+ seconds and never take your eyes off the first read and there's other WRs wide open then yoi missed the receiverPeople at the game always get upset by open guys…. They don’t know what the progressions are and if he actually missed the guy are not…. Ex… if pre snap read…. He is suppose to throw the out and a guy breaks free down the middle…. When in this exchange did I call you a name, and Bailey did play better against an SEC team in the last game with little development, and horrid game planning and little to no QB coaching...he actually improved as time went on despite getting no time till he was basically thrown to the lions deep into the season.LMAO
What am I supposedly pissed at you being right about? That Milton had a bad game? I've said that in several posts. Even said it last night. Why would I be pissed at you for saying something I am saying, too? Or is it the "Bailey could do better assertion", because we have no idea if that's right or not. We do know the coaches don't share that opinion.
As for insults, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware we weren't allowed to insult back. Perfectly okay for you to dish them out, but heaven forbid someone respond in kind.
You've gotten a lot more bitter the last few months.
I work part time as a ranger/Starter at Bear Trace in Harrison. Today we had 160 people out and many Vols fans were out. I would asked them about what they thought about the game last night. Every single one said the same thing that they were not impressed with Joe. Without exception. A man named Dave was at the game with his son said he was really disappointed and said the same thing some of us have said about his running and lack of touch. So it isn't just some on this board it was the guys I worked with and golfer's who were wearing orange and white today.
I believe that to be true. I also understand why...Milton is blessed with elite physical tools that Bailey is not, and if Heupel can fix him this offense will be almost unstoppable. I REALLY REALLY honestly doubt he can be fixed, he may improve, but I doubt his vision and accuracy issues can be completely fixed.Comments like this, and your assertions that Bailey hasn't had a "fair shot", and that he should be "rewarded for his loyalty"....and you call me obtuse?
Last year has nothing to do with this year, and you've clearly ignored this is a completely different offense. When in this exchange did I call you a name, and Bailey did play better against an SEC team in the last game with little development, and horrid game planning and little to no QB coaching...he actually improved as time went on despite getting no time till he was basically thrown to the lions deep into the season.
I know everybody forgets that fact, but I didn't .
