I watched it earlier..absolutely all my hopes for a faithful story adaptation and visual representation of the world Jordan described to us went out the window as I was watching it

I do have to say that it doesn't look cheap though, high production values were obvious. I will just have to see if I like the show for the show, and forget it being based on my beloved story. Just because it isn't, doesn't mean it can't be good.
They are 💯 going to focus on aes sedai and not Rand and the boys

These are the thoughts that just went through my head… Joe Milton is going to be benched after the first half because he threw for over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns and we’re up 35 to 3.

Bailey starts the second half and throws 2 more touchdowns and 200 more yards of passing. Hooker comes in for the fourth and also throws 2 touchdowns and over 200 yards passing.

Everyone nationwide notices the score but doesn’t give it that much thought since it was just Bowling Green. But then next week we beat Pitt by 30 points and people start to take notice of the Vols.

Vols travel to Gainesville and shock the world by upsetting the Gators.

The momentum continues and UT finishes the Regular season 11-1 with a close loss to Bama. But in the rematch in Atlanta the Vols come out on top and are ranked #1 in the country. We beat Oklahoma in round one of the playoffs and crush Clemson in the national title game.

Mullen leaves for NFL. Kirby gets fired after going 7-5. Saban retires and Dabo takes over.

The decade of the Vols begins…
Big Ron Swanson has the hottest chili.

Honestly, I don’t think Heup will give them a chance to throw for 400. I think we’ll grind it out the second half on the ground and get out with a win and without showing much

I don't know if you've seen what Heupel has been doing as a Head Coach, but "grind it out" isn't exactly the way he runs things.

I will say I could see an emphasis shift to running more, but I think he'll still be calling plays to try and score the entire game.

He has never coached a game where his team has this much of a talent advantage.

Of course he will be trying to score, all I’m saying is, I don’t see him throwing a bunch of Vegas routes in the 4th quarter lol

We could beat Bowling Green without ever throwing a pass. That does no good for our guys. I'm sure the game will be called the same as if we're playing the SEC Championship game.

I bet it won’t be called the same as that.. we aren’t going to be exotic on offense or defense against BG. It won’t look like anything we throw at Pitt

Having visions of Elijah Simmons camped out in BG’s backfield...

Its first game in a new system, I dont expect us to just run the ball 70% of the time unless we are getting 8-9 ypc, we will throw it at least 25 times with milton

I mean, I think they are treating it like a real game, not a scrimmage, like GaSt. I think they are going to stick to their regular playcalling for the game, regardless of score or which players we have in.
