I got an email today to schedule booster for October. Wife should be due in January.
Edit: We both got Moderna: daughters got Pfizer.

Glad you’re in the pipeline. We haven’t heard anything yet, which I assume is due to waiting on FDA approval.

I truly never thought that we would be back in this state of nervously waiting for a freakin’ shot, only 7 months after the first one. 😩

No. The teacher across the hall from me did not get the Moderna with the rest of us. She had covid during her pregnancy and wanted to wait to get the vaccine after the baby was born. She got the J&J and was wondering if/when she would need/get a booster. We talked about that very thing today.

Correct, the vaccine incentives are in addition to the PPP benefits (if under 500 employees)

Originally in 2020, a company could not claim both PPP and the Employee Retention Credit; however, as part of one the stimulus packages passed in late 2020, a Company may qualify for both. Businesses of any size may qualify for the Employee Retention Creidt.

Yeah, this will be a problem.

There are churches being set up in Tennessee where the main doctrine is anti-COVID vaccination.

The isolation and hygiene is what stopped the spread. Being able to come out of the shell was the carrot used to encourage vaccination. Only it doesn't seem to be working. Vaccinated people are getting sick and a few are dying. There is no evidence that variants are being spawned by unvaccinated people and even if they are it won't matter if we vaccinate everyone in the US so long as we're letting unvaccinated people pour through the southern border and allowing international travel into and out of the country. If you want this to end, we're all gonna have to go back into lockdown and stay there until it's died out for lack of hosts. Only people in this country are too selfish to accept that so they have to believe that doing something as passive as getting a shot suddenly makes them not part of the problem and fully licensed to pass judgment on others.

I think the total number is 17 (not counting Covid). I want to say that meant 11 pokes for me at basic training (as in I had had six of them already). But those 17 aren’t “politically motivated” according to a lot of people.

And I don’t think smallpox is part of the 17 at basic. I got the anthrax and smallpox vaccines to prepare for my deployment. Yankee was a DS, he’d know.

I don't know if this is more selfish or ignorant. You must be independently wealthy to realistically suggest that small town economies can withstand another full blown shutdown.

I agree, on that was his point. But nobody around here passes judgement on others except me.

I disagree. If you aren't vaccinated you ARE part of the problem. Even if you have a reasonable excuse, you are still part of the problem whether you like it or not.

And that ^^^ is not passing judgment. It’s a simple statement of fact. I’ve done both, and I’m ashamed of passing judgment. But I’m not ashamed of stating the facts when I read stuff that’s obviously untrue.
