Seriously, educate yourself.

China can put a **** load more aircraft in the air around Taiwan than we can which would keep our fighters refueling much further out. Plus they don't mind spending lives.
I wonder what he thinks would happen if China picked a fight with us over Puerto Rico, in our backyard.

That's what you do best .... so why can't she?

They'd have more credibility of they didn't focus the entirety of their criticism on Biden. Despite the set up of the last 20 years and despite the miscalculation of the prior administration.

I don't think the Biden administration handled this well at all and should be criticized. But pretending it just fell out of the sky and he's the sole owner of all the buffoonery just makes the attack look partisan.

A lot of talk. No recent track record of success, however.
Sure there is. You can’t say that our military hasn’t dominated in Afghanistan or even Iraq. But we can’t stay and continue to fight their fight for them.

We fight just fine. We just suck at picking people worth fighting for.

And how much time and money should we invest in making sure Taiwan remains liberated?

Nice change of tack, I don’t blame you. So Taiwan is much more connected to the world economy than Afghanistan. And there is no reason to believe they won’t fight to keep their western freedoms. So it’s really a lousy comparison frankly. If Afghanistan is wiped away tomorrow the only people who would miss it are the opium addicts and dealers.

No that doesn’t mean I’m advocating going there and fighting though.

Just a reminder (and he stood by this comment in a 2019 interview)

"I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says of Vice President Joe Biden in his new book coming out later this month.

About as surprising as saying “water is wet”

Gates was putting it kindly.

???

That's because all recent engagements have been nation building exercises and open-ended adventures that lacked clear objectives, which we (or any military) aren't good at.
Korea War: Deadlock
Bay of Pigs: Fiasco
Vietnam War: Fiasco/loss
Operation Eagle Claw (Iran Hostage Rescue Attempt): Fiasco
Iraq: 2 wars over the last 30 years, minimal gains
Afghanistan: Fiasco/loss
Syria: Fiasco/loss
Taiwan: ???
Ukraine:???

Grenada: Win
Panama/Noriega: Win
