2022 Recruits

Good luck to F. Johnson but what I saw of her she needs some coaching. She shoots to much does not pass very often and making 8 of 30 and people talking about her high average were not a good look. Almost any player can put up that many shots and average in double digits. At the next level she must be taught by whomever her coach is to be a more selective shooter and also willing to pass to open teammates. That her team went 0 and 5 in the Nike Tourney really tells a lot about how many bad possessions they had every game.

2022 recruits we know of that...

Have visited:
Darianna Littlepage-Buggs
Ruby Whitehorn
Justine Pissott (2) Committed

Have not visited yet:
KK Bransford (1)
Talaysia Cooper (5)
Amiya Joyner (14)
Sa'myah Smith (9)
Ashlyn Watkins (4)

Revised to remove Flaujae. Wish her the best.
Bransford and Watkins are long shots. Whitehorn, Buggs, and Smith at least were in their top eight teams. Cooper giving us a good look. Joyner another unknown that we seem to be recruiting hard.

The bottom line is TN needs to make a big splash with this 22 class you can`t just keep kicking the can down the road and say we will get this player in 2023 ect. The reason is because there is no guarantee any of the players in the 2023 class will choose TN ? We just don`t know. Just my take on this. And Volfan2012 post not directed towards you just piggybacking off your post.

Depends on if Burrell is coming back and even Dye as both are eligible for another season if they so desire. If neither is coming back then yes we need a top player. If either one is then we can push the can down the road to 2023 we'll have 12 or 13 returnees. This will make for another experienced team. If for any reason no more signees in 2022 then we have to get a player or two out of the portal starting in March. I'll be just as happy with top rated portal players as I am with 2022 freshmen. Still need a top point guard and power forward Lattimore and Wilson problem solved.

Please identify those "big splash" players in the 2022 class that the LVs need to get.

Ashlyn Watkins, Sa'Myah Smith, Tabitha Amanze ? hurt her knee in a brace right now if we need a pg my wild card Yonta Vaughn her rankings # 62 to me is just crazy. If you have not seen her play then you should. She played this summer for team takeover and that team has some ballers.

The young lady appears to be one hell of a fine pg....Is her knee injured, or is it expected to heal with a little rest?

She has all the needed pg attributes; great handles, drives the lane, sees the floor for the open player, a very good passer, nice outside shot, and protects the ball.

Have we offered?

No GT Yonta Vaughn she is fine, The 6-4 post out of NJ Tabitha Amanze is injured she hurt her knee she was on the rise. As for the pg Yonta Vaughn plays for Bishop McNamara MD a private, Catholic school like Justine in NJ. The only difference in the schools basketball is Bishop McNamara plays a crazy out of conference schedule tough. GT i`m not sure if we offered but she is a player will move up the ranking fast. This was her Soph year she is even more dangerous now. offered not sure we should.

Damn, that video is as impressive as it can be.....The young lady is an ankle breaker, deep outside shooter, and lane driver.....She also has the type of attitude I like; she's a Raptor!

Someone needs to get in touch with Coach Kellie...Put her with Miles and we own the SEC.

Looks like she follows Florida, West Virginia, Maryland, and Clemson. I didn't see anything Tennessee for this player. Looks like were going all in on Cooper maybe some point guard we don't know about and if that fails on to the portal and 2023.
