Listen I'm excited to hear all the practice notes because it's getting close to game time, but we've heard the same shi* for the past 14 year.

JG was a monster in practice and Dobbs sucked in practice.
You are getting practice notes from people that are not scouts and don’t really know what they are looking for.

I actually hate the practice reports - gets my hopes up and they are always dashed.

every year.

I wish we didn't hear a peep and just started with game 1.

The practice heros never turn out.
So y'all checking out until you show up for the first game?

Seriously, how exciting would it be to go to the first game without knowing who was where?

The last time we lost the Summer Olympics was the Beijing Games in 2008. As the host nation, I just assume China cheated that year. But now we're on the verge of losing to them in Japan. They still have us by 7 golds, and I'm not sure there's enough medal events left where we're actually contenders.
Men's wrestling has a chance.

I don't know if they "want" Milton to be the guy or not. I've maintained he is the best athlete of the group, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was true simply because of the way his athleticism could give them more options.

I do know this. The idea of Milton being handed the job for free doesn't hold water when those other three guys had an entire Spring to convince CJH to not bring in another QB and they couldn't do it.
The thing about Milton is people thinks if he can run then he wins the job. If he cant pass then all you have is a running QB and from the practice report he has no touch and drills the ball. I am all for the best QB wins the job but just because Milton might run better means nothing if he cant throw. Being the best athlete does not make one the best QB

When I say athlete... I mean size, speed, and arm strength.

Milton is the best combination of those three that we have, and I don't think anyone is close to matching his arm strength.

As far as throwing lasers in practice, I'm not worried. There are probably 5 examples of him taking some velocity off and showing touch in the Minnesota game last season.

An idiot named Skoal Can once said "I'd rather say woah than go" and I think that definitely applies to arm strength.
