I don't think we're going to catch China in the gold medal count. We're going to lose to communism.
538 projects us to grow our total medal count lead from 4 to 22. But how many of those can be gold who knows. Projects US to win 38 more total medals and China 20 more.

A country of 360 million vs a country of 2 billion.
I'm not seeing your point.

1.4-1.5b but who's counting?

Of odd note from things I read the other day about country populations - China is expected to be passed by India by 2027 for the most population. Expected to be about the same by 2050, but expected to decrease to a population of just 1b by 2100. USA expected to not decrease population, but still be less than 400mm by 2100.

Nigeria also expected to reach 700-900mm by 2100 and be the 3rd largest country.

Hope I’m dead before whatever comes around that causes a billion people to die in 50 years

Old age bruh 😅

Fewer babies...below replacement rate. Expected in most first world countries. Italy and other Euro countries expected to fall by 50% outside of possible future immigration changes. 3rd world countries will keep booming in population until they reach first world standards...less economic need for kids, better health and education.

Strange times ahead, but Japan is an early guinea pig and also on the leading edge of robotics and automation. They'll hopefully lay out a steady plan on how to deal with a very old population without crushing the economy.

Saw this article earlier today, this is the type of proactive measures I'm hoping to see UT take sooner than later. When you talk about the playing field being even due to NIL and all previously clandestine dealings out in the open, this is the type of action that recruiters/players will consider in choosing a destination. If all things are equal it'll be these type of creative measures that could swing the momentum in a schools favor.

this is in the works. Heupel is also working on some other stuff that would be a big benefit for the school. Or so ive heard through grapevines.

Eh, clothing isn't really a big deal. Thr bigger issue is people who would rather look at women as serial objects rather than people. Is it really any worse than stuff men get away with wearing?
13-17 YEAR OLDS? That really is a very big deal. Most beach tournaments for underage girls require shorts and tank tops. With creepy men stopping by to "watch volleyball" yeah it's a big deal. Last year I had to stop 3 50 year old men from going down to check out "some hot a** on the sand courts" at a 16U tournament my daughter was playing in.
