Eh, clothing isn't really a big deal. Thr bigger issue is people who would rather look at women as serial objects rather than people. Is it really any worse than stuff men get away with wearing?
I think the point is that parading women and girls around in the most revealing and sexualized way possible is what leads to (or at least contributes to) people's looking at them like objects. The guys are wearing long shorts and tank tops at every beach volleyball match I've seen.

Thank you, I will.

To be blunt, I have no use or sympathy for athletes that inject their SJW politics into sports, especially the olympics.

If this country has "oppressed" you so much that you feel the need to draw a sh!t load of attention (and heat) upon yourself by letting everybody on the world stage know, then defect to Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, etc., live there for a few years and then let me know what you think.

If your still alive........
AMEN...sick of those jackasses.

From the perspective of Maslow, things have to be comparatively good for so much time and attention to be given to social justice. That really is ironic. You can only spend time and resources on such things when your basic needs are already met. Even though you could argue that BLM is bringing to light a security issue (Maslow's tier 2), the statistical reality is that the issue is more one of perception than real security. By contrast, much of the rest of the world doesn't have the luxury of protesting for social justice, because the most fundamental physiological and security needs are not met.

tldr: Social justice protests are a luxury for well-fed, well-clothed, secure people who are already substantially better off than the rest of the world.

There was some incident earlier in the Olympics where a team was punished because their bikini bottoms weren't revealing enough.

That was not in the Olympics, and it was in beach handball. Apparently, handball rules require bikini bottoms. But, beach volleyball rules do not require bikini bottoms. In fact, there are 4 designs that are eligible to be worn, including a one piece and a set with shorts. But, players wear what they are comfortable in. The top American team is quoted as saying they prefer bikini bottoms because of the heat and lack of chafing.

My wife read about that. I am totally surprised by it because they allow ladies wear long sleeves or pants for religious reasons. Is there an article?

Thank you. My wife was all up in arms about it.

I lived about 100 miles east of Billings. There were some nice hills out my direction but for the most part it was flat and treeless.

Side note: I spent all my summers in the Bighorn Mtns of Wyoming. Absolute heaven on earth.
I currently live in Casper and LOVE the big horns. I’ve done some really nice back packing there.

Is @David Ubben off the Tennessee athletic beat? I haven’t seen anything posted in a while but know he said he was working on some bigger stories.
He's getting all of the provisions prepared for the start of school. It's where he makes his money. The elementary school kids love them those bootleg cigarettes. It's like he has them addicted or something
