My daughter plays beach volleyball and recently played in Pompano Beach. I was absolutely astonished when there were 13-17 year olds playing in thongs and their parents sit and watched like it was no big deal. What are we doing as a society to normalize this type of stuff for our young ladies?
Eh, clothing isn't really a big deal. Thr bigger issue is people who would rather look at women as serial objects rather than people. Is it really any worse than stuff men get away with wearing?

I don't know. I refuse to let my daughters feel they are cheap. They are precious and should never let anyone make them feel they are less than. Parents that let their daughters walk out of the house or onto the court/field in skimpy little shorts (or less) with their butts hanging out need to be thumped.

Clothing is a big deal. I am not a prude, but there are ways for female athletes to still compete without their butts exposed for all to see.

Insanity. If they want to as adults fine, but having rules in place mandating bikinis (or less) in sports is crazy.

make all jokes you like (im sure you will), hate it for the US National Club, I know its dissapointing. Political statements aside (dumb as they all are).
Thank you, I will.

To be blunt, I have no use or sympathy for athletes that inject their SJW politics into sports, especially the olympics.

If this country has "oppressed" you so much that you feel the need to draw a sh!t load of attention (and heat) upon yourself by letting everybody on the world stage know, then defect to Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, etc., live there for a few years and then let me know what you think.

If you're still alive........

I would be surprised if they are mandated. If they were mandated, it would be mandatory that we are done with that league.

From the perspective of Maslow, things have to be comparatively good for so much time and attention to be given to social justice. That really is ironic. You can only spend time and resources on such things when your basic needs are already met. Even though you could argue that BLM is bringing to light a security issue (Maslow's tier 2), the statistical reality is that the issue is more one of perception than real security. By contrast, much of the rest of the world doesn't have the luxury of protesting for social justice, because the most fundamental physiological and security needs are not met.

tldr: Social justice protests are a luxury for well-fed, well-clothed, secure people who are already substantially better off than the rest of the world.

Billings is a butthole. Nothing good there lol. There’s a little town called Dayton about 15 miles outside of Sheridan at the foot of the Bighorns that I would move too if I ever went back out there.

Why don’t I move back there? A) I LOVE Tennessee, and B) -50 below zero winters
I feel you on the winters, I just can't take those temps, but if it wasn't for my duties I would move to Arizona in a heartbeat..

I get that equation to baseball. I grew up with baseball and understand the build up to every pitch..several of my favorite watched games ever were 1-0 2-1 3-2 types with great situational hitting, great pitching and defense.

I love hockey, especially live, even though it is low scoring most of the time because it is so physical, people get hammered constantly. I don't understand rugby, but I often watch a lot of a game while flipping channels just because of the physicality of the sport.

I really think I would love soccer if it was played like hockey and rugby and American football. If people were getting hit it would be fun to watch.

I used to love NBA basketball, but I can't stand it anymore because it isn't played rough like it was in my day. I like to watch our Vols because they usually play tough defense.
Understandable. When I first started playing men's league soccer, they had to coach the American football out of me.

No, no, Ed, we don't blind-side the other guy with de-cleating blocks. Wrong sport.

But I think you might have enjoyed that play, UEM. 😁

After spending most of my life surrounded by hills, I get uncomfortable when the terrain is too flat. Wouldn't say I'm agoraphobic, but the discomfort is real. Visits are fine, but the hills are always calling.
I grew up on the Llano estacado in Texas, so I love it when I hit the Great Plains now, I get this powerful free feeling, but I love the big mountains out west more than anything.

Milton named the starter. Hyatt is transferring.

Edit: just look at the first part not the second 😬

There was some incident earlier in the Olympics where a team was punished because their bikini bottoms weren't revealing enough.
