Why go to GA or Bama? You’ll lose money on any endorsements by paying state taxes, right? If it’s all about the money then UT and UF should be good spots for not having state income taxes. You’d keep an extra 4% of your money. That’s a lot especially on a larger endorsement.

Let me explain to you, coming ro UT will not garner any better benefits than going to Bama or UGA. Actually going g to either of those 2 will get him more. Those 2 win on an elite level right now and playing there has a little more clout at the current moment. None of these kids are worry about taxes and all that like a normal citizen like I or you.

For a UT fan, how do you not see that your tone comes across as if you'd rather he pick Bama or UGA? Not picking a fight, even giving you the benefit of the doubt, but the way you post comes across entirely anti-UT. Do you honestly not see it? It's what pisses people off. You can be honest in your posting while not dissing UT.

When he (Garner) left us for UGA, that was the beginning of the downfall of the Fulmer era. The Georgia pipeline which was a large part of our success, became a trickle.

If the kid chooses Gardner there he will be every bit as good as Derrick Brown, and will be a top 10 pick after year 3. It's just that simple.

I didn't say what you said was wrong.. All I'm trying ro get you to understand is that the kids don't care about this. Also to the vast majority they don't even think of taxes at all just the initial deal. We've had to sit down and talk with 4 or 5 and help parents review and understand deals. I'd said 99.5% only see the total value and that they'll hv their own money. No more bumming from parents, friends,, or family members.

Truth can be spoken in a kinder tone.

You're missing out by not making friends. Friends are one of those things you can never have too many of, and you never know when you might need their encouragement and support.

Most of us know the truth. We know what's wrong with Tennessee, what's been wrong. We know our recent history and why that would push kids in another direction. But we also have hope that maybe Heupel will finally be that guy that can turn it all around. We may not have the recent success, but we do have things to sell. I'd like to think that any kid that's hungry and ready to prove himself can see the opportunities that are here.

DL is The most important part of the team. Starts in the Trenches. I have been saying this as far back as Dooley and it showed that if you don't have the guys up front the offense can run all over you. Can't wait to see how our guys Develop this year under a true master of his craft in Garner. Then pick and choose who we want, cause they will be knocking the door down to get in. Bet that.

I'd be surprised if Lowe at Powell is there for another couple of years. He's "allegedly" as dirty as they come and I know that every coach in the area has their eyes on him. Several of their starters "allegedly" live in other parts on knox. He's been in trouble before and will again. However, if WN ends up at UT, I'll let it slide for this year. He's still a d bag though who wears a visor backwards and upside down.

By being on message boards doesn't form friendships. We just have something in common, and that's the fact that we like/love the same team. Also believing that a person on a message board is your friend is a false sense of reality. I come on here with perspective of truth from a person who loves UT but can also accept reality unlike a lot of other ppl. I also come speaking on recruiting in which is one of my businesses. All the animosity comes from ppl and the lies they feed themselves due to thinking a company that produces top tier talent in the state of Tennessee is against UT instead of realizing that many of these kids view UT much differently than they do. The #1 reason for that is a 10 yr window in which many who moved here from other parts of the United States have seen UT not have much success and chg coaches repeatedly since 2010.
