I have been meaning to read Atlas Shrugged. Need to do that this summer. 1984 has the thought police, limiting vocabulary and rewriting history that we see going on now.I have read 1984, Fahrenheit 454, Animal Farm, and several others like those. My favorite is Atlas Shrugged because it is sooooo spot on to how the world is behaving nowadays. Everyone is a victim and is owed something. Looters/Moochers will do their best to feed off the producers if they are allowed to.
Book is great and movies (especially to get quick message) were good. They weren’t going to win an Oscar but they were independently produced to tell a great story.I have been meaning g to read Atlas Shrugged. There was actually a professor, I think in Indiana but not sure, that was arguing that 2+2=5 and should be taught to children. And she was not alone. Fascinating how she came to that conclusion. And terrifying. This is really where I come at it from, and exactly what the gender self-identify movement evokes to me. A government that can compel you to say that a biological man is no different than a biological woman (“trans-women are women”) is a government that can compel you to say that 2+2=5.
I remember that was trending on Twitter a few months ago, not sure it was the same professor you’re thinking of, might have been another one. But yeah, it’s heading nowhere good. There was actually a professor, I think in Indiana but not sure, that was arguing that 2+2=5 and should be taught to children. And she was not alone. I have that book! Yeah they do a good job, and it's telling that evolutionists will not answer them and certainly will not debate them. That's a good primer.
Creation Ministries is rock solid scientifically as well as scripturally. We subscribe and I have read many of their publications and held conversations with Gary Bates when he came to our church. Dr. Sarfati has an outstanding, detailed, complex book relating to Gen. 1-11 that goes into creation, DNA, fossils, carbon dating, Darwinism, etc. as well as many other subjects. We don't have to go along with and believe the charlatans who want to rule the world.
The Lord speaks if we will only shut up long enough to listen.
Is that the Austrailian guy on Christian radio? That's a good primer.

I don’t think Sarfati does radio. He’s a PHD scientist who is also an absolute genius. Fun fact, he’s a chess grand master of New Zeland and has played Blindfold chess, including against 12 people at one time. Played Boris Spassky to a draw. Also a good dude.Is that the Austrailian guy on Christian radio?
If so he is absolutely nuts.

I think it's Ken Ham.I doubt it is him and realize you are not saying it is. See the Bass post. I would have to question the motive and a person's sanity for calling Dr. Sarfati nuts. His intellect and reasoning are off the charts.
Little known fact. I knew/know several of of the people who worked in Oak Ridge who were involved in the early research stages of DNA among other scientific endeavors there. FWIW most are devout Christians. Many of the things I learned from them then are in play now. Dr. Sarfati's information matches up and expands on it. Naysayers are either uninformed or have narratives and agendas.
Absolutely. Universities have basically become left wing indoctrination centers
