Going around that the names will be removed from the jerseys. This could be much ado about nothing, but I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything?

I hope not, I have always enjoyed having the names on the back, I know you play for the names on the front of the jersey but I do not see how taking the name off the back is going to make a difference in the way the players play.

Here's my take from the Adidas Football Uniform Builder website:

The circle underneath the v-neck on the front of the jersey's would be the Power T logo.

Take the black out of the uni's...That just looks hideous..I like the away uni's without the black tho..Kinda sharp

Has anyone actually confirmed this? Or is it still just a rumor at this point? Either way it makes no difference to me. Not having the names on the jerseys is kind of old-school, and might a neat change, but no other changes beyond that, UT has a very traditional and classy look, and there's no need for these silly new-age designs other teams are going with.

Top Left= Main Home Games
Middle Left=SEC Championship/Bowl Game
Bottom Left=Georgia, USCe
Top Right= Main Away Games
Middle Right= Florida, Alabama

even though we lost while wearing them.. I like the uniforms we wore during the ucla game. also the all orange was a cool, unexpected uniform

Personally, I'm glad we're not a bunch of Nike sheep. I hate everything Nike and Phil Knight (CEO - Nike) stand for. I will never buy Nike anything and hope UT never goes back to Nike.

Thats the great thing about God and his infamous wisdom to make us all different. Everyone has their own taste and style and whats junk to one man is riches to the next.
