I see nothing wrong with letting the players on the field to take the picture as long as they the only people on the field so that they have no opportunity to expose other people to the virus. However, NCState's coaches and decisions makers should be suspended because they were/are willing to expose unvaccinated people tp this virus. Their actions jeopardize all the unvaccinated players managers, and eventually parents and family to covid. Such actions are dangerous and lead to further spread of the disease causing illness and death. I just lost a close friend and neighbor too this disease. It is dangerious. If these players had been vaccinated, this situation would not have happened. NCState has been negligent of their responsibilities to do everything they could to protect the health of their players.

They should have all walked on the field in uniforms yesterday at the time of first pitch ready to play, minus the 2 positive unvaccinated players, and sat down at the pitching mound. Then refused to leave the field until Vandy came out and played the game. Even if without umps.

While everyone has the right to deny taking the vaccine, they are also must realize that if/when they get Covid, it is because they made an unwise decision. Yes, but it was my understanding if you took the vaccine then no need to be tested. The NFL and other leagues are proceeding that route.

While I personally wish everyone would get vaccinated and believe it is the fastest path back to normalcy for all of us, I think your post is over the top. You cannot force someone to take a vaccine. I think the universities are doing the very best that they can in what is still a very confusing and challenging situation. If the NCAA changed its protocol, midstream, as has been suggested, they should be sued and hung out to dry.

Brother in law received the BCG vaccine as a child. Has never contracted tuberculosis, but will always test positive on the TB skin test. Science be scary.

This is the most effective vaccine that has ever be developed. Not only is this process the best in history, there are data which indicate the same process can help prevent other diseases such as certain types of cancer, alzheimer's , ALS and other diseases. In fact, a new trial is just beginning to determine if an experimental mRNA vaccine can prevent Melanoma. The sky seems to be the limit on what tis new process can enhance the health on quality of life in the future. Those who are unaware of the benefits of these vaccines need to read some of the peer reviewed scientific papers which have been published in reputable Journals and not rely on unfounded rumors and misinformation continued in the social media. Hearsay, conspiracy theories, and foreign propaganda, have no place in the scientific community.

The vaccine works. Trust me. I have been in and around people from the all over the US and multiple other countries. (For my Job)

Now if you got the Johnson and Johnson shot out of laziness. There is an issue there. That vaccine was only developed against one strain of COVID.

The mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) have been proven to work against all strains of COVID. So if you are vaccinated and don’t have these shots there is a higher possibility you can contract COVID again.

All one has to do is read your posts. That give a good indication of what you don't know. I spent over 30 years in the vaccine field and know quite a bit about vaccines and their use and effectiveness. Even in retirement, I have regular zoom meeting with the scientific community to stay up to date on what is happening.
