Banks had two separate incidents BEFORE he was dismissed by Pruitt. He worked his way back from that for his reinstatement. He’s flown right for almost two years…as opposed to three weeks.

It is strange. Typically these situations end with a kid going to a smaller school or JUCO for a while as a type of punishment, then back to a big school. But it seems like if he's really good and is going to end up at a rival, making him sit a year would accomplish the same thing and keep his talent with us. It's always baffled me too, how a kid has to go away for a minute then he's allowed to play again, but only for one of our rivals lol.

Guess so, Kivon Bennett did. Though the portal is really just a formality anyway. Once you're no longer a player, I'd assume other teams are free to recruit you without your "notification of transfer".
