Another week of it. We have a few more waffling, then hopefully, those who are bought in can focus on getting ready for the season without distraction.
I'm curious what happens if a SA goes into the portal after the deadline date - can they still land elsewhere, just without the 1-time exception rule? Would they still have the opportunity to play immediately by going through the old exception rules (family medical emergency, within 100 miles of home, etc)?

I get you don't wanna names, but what positions of those waffling? I assume DL is one of them

Just stuff that needs to be fixed and/or replaced. Close the stadium and lose all that money? Never.

The nicer upgrades are at least a season away and are phased. Some were approved this year for the 2022 season. Most of the fan experience upgrades are further out.
They need to give a huge facelift to the outside of the stadium on the far end near the river and on the visitor side. It’s atrocious. We should be ashamed to let it get in that kind of shape.

Just my opinion but if they're still waffling at this point they need to go. Usually if it's something you want the decision is pretty quick and easy.

Every year we do gymnastics to get UNDER the 85 man limit. Never an issue…neither is this.
Jmo but losing enough guys, where we don't get their spots back, and then ending up with a smaller class, is going to be an issue down the road.

South endzone is awful. UT has slowplayed facilities renos for years. Too much instability and transition at the top. At least, they've been upgrading player facilities. But other things have been deferred or ignored.

I think they can still apply for a waiver. Some schools and coaches have better luck than others pushing those through.

I think that's now a thing, passed along with the 1-time transfer exception. It's just that this year it is pushed back to July 1. Iirc in the future it will be May 1.
That sounds a lot better. Gives them time to go through spring practice then decide what they want.

I appreciate the ambition but do these kids think there will be so much money flowing that companies will want to pay walk ons who never play?

Every father should be gifted with these when he has a daughter.

For you city folk, it's an emasculator.
I have a set of those. They are a great conversation piece.
