Bingo. We are limited and we won't get back nearly enough spots from guys leaving. People say "well the transfer portal" while ignoring that for most outgoing transfers we won't get their spot back. That's a net loss however you cut it and outside of backcounting, going over 25/year isn't likely.

Following recruiting is beyond stupid…. But I just can’t quit.

Kind of had the same problem when I was a die hard NFL fan. I’d spend months reading mock drafts and then scouting reports on 6th and 7th rounders and convince myself undrafted free agents we’re gonna a be diamonds in the rough.

Equally a huge waste of time

I’m considering dropping VN off-season… especially when I see my VN screen time report from iPhone. Trying to be more productive and I could use those hours back. Just trying to scroll faster and interact less for now

I think that's now a thing, passed along with the 1-time transfer exception. It's just that this year it is pushed back to July 1. Iirc in the future it will be May 1.

Every year we do gymnastics to get UNDER the 85 man limit. Never an issue…neither is this.
