C'mon folks.... what we're witnessing is an amazing turnaround for a baseball program that has been an almost literal dumpster fire for YEARS. There are 4 stages to being a great team.

1) Lose big
2) Lose small
3) Win small
4) Win big

So far, barring TV dumping us for more money somewhere else (and subsequent crappy hire), we're somewhere between 3 & 4.

They’re in the CWS because they were placed in perhaps the weakest regional and got a 3 seed as their opponent in the Supers at a neutral site infinitely closer to home than their opponent. The program has slipped immensely the last 3 seasons from a winning standpoint this season included. The last 3 years they’re:

29-25
32-24
35-25

The truth is they have gotten hits with RISP and we haven’t. UVA has only hit one ball hard today. Bloop singles in the outfield for the most part. Even on pitches that weren’t strikes. We hit it right to them. It happens. Their pitcher was lights out. All this crap about lights too bright, stage too big...many on here have been saying that for weeks. But yet, here they are. In Omaha.

This team will fight to the end. And I’ll be right there with them...
