Sure it is in moderation, you don’t know what you’re missing with green vegetables, but I guess I’m the kettle calling the pot black here.
Not really good with moderation myself, but I have enough sense to know the the Stillman Diet isn’t something meant for lifelong eating.

It’s similar to the Adkins that was the rage in the 90’s? High protein, if my failing memory remembers. Yes, I know I can google, but I like to exercise my mind, what’s left of it. Anyway, the older I get, I’m really appreciating vegetables. I can only take so much meat and it weighs me down.

Atkins or Adkins (I can never remember) was lotsa meat, including high-fat meat, plus complex carbs like green vegetables. No simple carbs like bread, rice, taters, etc.

Stillman was serious sheet. Early 70’s. Lean beef, lean chicken, lean fish, maybe lean pork, if there is such a thing, as much as you can stand. Nothing else, no condiments. Girl in my dorm did Stillman for a summer break, literally nothing but grilled lean hamburgers for two and a half months, and lost 50 pounds (and kept it off.)

I’m assuming that you poop once a month, maybe.

ETA: this was one of the first ketogenic diets. You had to drink tons of water to avoid destroying your kidneys. No alcohol, btw.

Fad diets are never good for your body. Most people want the weight off fast when they didn’t gain it fast. Your body will fight back on those diets.

I think TFG and 114 poops in they shower. Probably more than once a month.

I've heard that they used to have to clean crap off the floor at some of the clubs in south beach from where people would rectally insert ketamine and then get so wacked out that they'd poop their pants on the dance floor and not realize it. On one hand, I can see how that might be liberating...being so high that you dgaf where you defacate. But it's not very respectful towards the people who have to clean up after you.

Or not to yourself for the cleaning afterwards
