He has been like that in past. He’s a real vol fan but he has always seemed to be stricken with football wokeness.Never noticed him to be like that, but today we are talking Henry T and comes in with that and we all be like

I disagree, we're softer and my kids are softer and part of that is my fault, just as it was my parents fault etc. etc. Expectations go down every generation.
We're notably softer as a people, just look at obesity and drug addiction rates alone.
If he smokes a cigar, I'll join you in being angry. That's the equivalent of taunting to me, too far to your old teammates. Otherwise, I don't get all the fuss. He stands a much better chance of getting drafted higher at Bama. He knows that defense, he'll have better players around him to make him look better, and he'll be on a winning team. I wouldn't make that decision, but I don't hate him for making it. He's a mercenary. Not my favorite kind of player, but not despicable.I don't even care that they remain friends. But dude transferred to Alabama. Be friends after the season. Be friends after graduating. But the idea of congratulating a dude who transferred to your yearly cross divisional rivalry who will be tackling your teammates and smoking cigars celebrating beating you is an absolute joke.
My daughter is a dancer and if she got a free ride to any of those schools to be on the dance team, I would 100% support her. It is her choice to make with significant input from me and my wife. For the record, she wants to go to Tennessee, but if she has a better opportunity somewhere else, I am all in.My daughter plays softball. We've already had this conversation. If she's lucky enough to get picked up by a school, she is not allowed to play for GA, Fl, or Bama.
Well, one of us is raising our daughter right, the other is you.My daughter is a dancer and if she got a free ride to any of those schools to be on the dance team, I would 100% support her. It isn't your program, super fan. You should divert some of that pride to something you actually have a shred of influence over.I played every sport growing up. I was particularly good at baseball while you were in your room playing video games all day.
Who freaking cares? Take some pride in your program. "Oh golly gee guys, who cares that Henry transferred and went to our biggest rival who has beaten us all these years in a row. Who cares that he's going to be beating us on the field this fall and tackling our very players who are congratulating him, or that he'll be smoking a cigar in our locker room celebrating it. All that matters is that everyone is trying their best and having fun and that everyone gets pizza and ice cream after the games over."
Go cheer for someone else
