This is a debate I got into with an Obama supporter once. Basically, he thought it was government's role to create jobs.

I say it's government's role to create the environment for the private sector to create jobs.

Compare and contrast Biden and Trump...

The federal government has awarded about $3 billion in contracts to shelter unaccompanied illegal immigrant children since February, records show.

The Department of Health and Human Services awarded the three largest federal contracts, worth over $2 billion, to two private companies and one nonprofit — as record illegal immigration surges began overwhelming authorities at the southern border.

The contracts went to Deployed Resources of Rome, NY, Family Endeavors in San Antonio, Texas, and Rapid Deployment in Mobile, Ala.

Has AOC made her appearance & showed her fake crocodile tears & her fake heartbreak over this crisis?
Biden's own appointed czar Harris refuses to go down to see & be bothered with these poor mistreated children.
Harris will not take questions on this crisis because you're not allowed to ask them on it to get an answer.
If she does take a question on the border crisis she just laughs & giggles on the subject of the children's mistreatment.

Rank amateurs; they haven't even figured out how to successfully manipulate manipulated numbers. They'd really be screwed if the workforce was defined the way it should be and not minimized by non counters.

Mine is truly a stimulus since I now own an old house. The money is stimulating me to do upgrades and repairs ... that I'd be doing anyway.

Back in earlier years before two income families were fairly normal, the 60% participation rate would have seemed reasonable. Now, it's scary because it really means a lot of people left the workforce prematurely or are choosing to sit it out because they can manage with .gov handouts.

Wonder how many of those companies were south of the border recruiting illegals in the first place. This is probably a spin on the military industrial complex business model.

You get the impression dems realize they have nothing to offer and are desperate to make a difference somehow, somewhere, sometime. They would be laughable if we could simply ignore them; unfortunately about 50% of the US population seems to be wandering in the woods with the dim leadership.
