Why would you be upset at this? Last year, our offense and defense were terrible. This year, our defense won’t have to be perfect as long as offense is scoring. It’s exciting football. No more 27-14 losses.

Because I just love losing 55-32 With our last TD coming in garbage time.

This is important and a 180 degree change from Pruitt. Our offensive staff has said we want to sling the ball all over the field and not worry about making mistakes.

Josh Heupel was the QB at OU in 1999 and 2000. In 2000 he was the runner up for the Heisman trophy and he won the national championship.

In 1999 he threw 30 TDs and 15 Interceptions. In 2000 he threw 20 TDs and 15 Interceptions. So in 2 years he threw for 50 TDs while throwing 30 Interceptions.

Different coaches = different priorities. jmo.

Won a National Championship throwing 20 TDs and 15 Ints...
I could live with thise QB stats if they come with a National Championship 🤠

Agreed. But if they are getting HB all of the JV work, that speaks for itself in its own right.

Or maybe the coaches need to see Hooker and Maurer in game situations.
It’s way too early for proclamations of the starters.

BTW, I want the QB that best moves CJH’s offense.

I have to say that I am exceedingly happy that all 3 QBs were working in the scrimmage. Huge difference in coaching styles...

I think if none of the qbs improve, Hooker can run the offense at a competent level. Have questions about his accuracy, but did have some good throws to the flat.

They still have half of spring, the summer, and fall camp to improve so I'm not worried yet.

I'm not counting out Bailey just yet and Hooker couldn't win the QB in VT so I am not in the Hooker is the next great thing to hit Rocky Top yet. lol

Hooker is the guy. For sure the starter in the Fall. - AP

He was not impressed with Bailey or Maurer today.
Go figure. Seems multiple other outlets and individuals disagree. It looks in terms of opinions to be split around 45% Maurer, 40% Hooker and 15% Bailey. That’s just a quick guess judging from comments made

I've been surprised to see some of your fans discounting Harrison Bailey at this point. He's practically getting his first real exposure to a college training camp atmosphere. No spring or summer workouts in 2020, and it sounded like he missed a lot of fall camp too. Even though he got some meaningful game reps later in the season, practice during the season is more of a week to week cram session than an intensive teaching experience. Watching Bailey in the Florida and TAMU games, you could tell he was still green. Things were moving too fast for him when his first receiver wasn't open.

I forgot about Bailey missing all that practice time. Thanks for the reminder. Makes a lot of sense.
