EATS is just a saying the staff uses with the team..... how is talking anything about how good he is.I’m probably the only one, but these Tweets irritate the crap out of me. As a fan I am so over words and platitudes. It is past time to start showing it with results.
I’m a firm believer in keeping your head down and grinding to get better. Telling everyone how good you think you are is worthless.
Not a fan of doghouses. Seems like an ego driven relic of the past.
Or.... that's what RL who gets paid to cover Vol basketball has said all season. And TB who most may not like has been right a lot recently has said Barnes didn't even meet this kid before he got to campus and didn't like him when he got here.Alledgedly...
And, if so, why was he in the doghouse?
I just fired 2 people this week, but it was my fault they had sh!t work ethics and their team members hated working with these people.
My OP was “We are bleeding in recruiting”Lol, so you know it isn't where we will end up, but it is the current reality? What is the current reality, and why does it matter? Were the Wade twins going to commit and then be on the field for the O&W game?
the more i talk to people the more i believe whole heartedly the staff became aware they were getting nailed by ncaa early on and just cashed it in.
Sort of like yours forgetting back to back 9-4 seasons with bowl wins right before the last bad season?
How many seasons have we heard this in recent years - either coaches or players or both mailing it in by the end of the year?
2011, 2012, 2017, 2020 come immediately to mind. Maybe last few games of 2018.
Miserable to sit through as a fan when you know your team isn't even trying...
Butch crashed and burned, but in my lifetime, the only time we have been nationally relevant was under Butch. Without 2015 and 2016, current recruits would have never seen us be relevant. By all accounts, he wasn't fit for the job and he failed spectacularly at the end, but without 2015-2016, recruits nor myself would have never seen Tennessee win a nationally meaningful game. I dislike the guy, but he was much better than Dooley and Pruitt imo.Dooley couldn’t muster a winning record here and Butch went 0-8 in the SEC in freaking Year 5, the worst season the Vols have ever had, but sure.
Y’all mofos got some selective memories.

The thing that puts Dooley above Pruitt for me is the situation he left us in. Not only a really sh***y roster situation but also with NCAA sanctions. With Butch, the last season was obviously horrible but he also had better seasons than Pruitt was able to muster, found a QB (I get that he pretty much lucked into that one, but still better than what Pruitt found), and in that last season, 3 of his losses were really close (Florida HM, South Carolina inside the 10, Kentucky 3 yards or so away from a completed HM TD) and Pruitt’s losses were almost ALWAYS blowouts.Dooley couldn’t muster a winning record here and Butch went 0-8 in the SEC in freaking Year 5, the worst season the Vols have ever had, but sure.

Just curious, how old are you?I’m probably the only one, but these Tweets irritate the crap out of me. As a fan I am so over words and platitudes. It is past time to start showing it with results.

I fired a guy, he told me that I stabbed him in the back. I had repeatedly told him he needed to slow down and try to do the job properly. Nope, same easy work messed up again and again. Some people like collecting paychecks, not learning.Alledgedly...
