The older I get, the more I see the value in looking at the organization/team that a person just left in trying to figure out if they will be good at the new stop. There is an easy temptation to write off any criticism of the departing person as sour grapes, but doesn't it seem like assessments by the prior team's fanbase are right more often than they are wrong? Is there a source other than forums and twitter? It just doesn't make sense. We are in similar shape to what he failed at with USC, with less talent and an open portal, and we haven't been relevant in 20 years. He'd be crazy to come here. That's why we ended up with a UCF staff that was replaced by better coaches.
