Pretty impressed by the attitudes and praise coming from these coaches. I hope they find a happy medium on the field. Very curious how this works out. Also I wonder if our whole previous coaching staff was just a total mess. Leaning towards yes.

Can't say which is better, but I know Butch was like that when he first got here, and his players played way harder for him than they did under Pruitt.

We should’ve seen it coming. Everyone was worried about Georgetown because they caught fire at the end. Well, so did Oregon State. Winning the PAC 12 tournament was impressive.

Quick mental note: in 2016, a lot of us complained that the offense couldn’t find a way to get Hurd and AK on the field at the same time. I have a gut feeling that this staff will find a way to make those kind of moves if needed and get the best players on the field.

I naively believed Butch would go along with DeBord deploying the offset I and that they could have used the spread with the same personnel...zipping between the schemes. It would have made Hurd more dangerous because the defense couldn’t tee off on him every running down. Could’ve used Kamara and Hurd in many packages and Kelly would have gotten more snaps early. Still believe he promised DeBord and reneged as early as the Appalachian State game.

One thing I think we have in Heup is guy who isn’t going to let his ego overrule reason and logic. I could always be wrong but he doesn’t give me that vibe at all.

Im not sure about UCLA, it depends on if they can slow the game down and make Bama play at their pace. Syracuse should be able to shoot their way to a close game.
