Agree to disagree, but anything less than a consensus top 25, will be a huge disappointment, imo. That would probably mean a losing record overall and in the SEC. Then the low point drops even further and I will probably be a miserable human being during the whole college football season thru signing day

Agree. Arkansas came in at 25th in the composite this class. They had 0 5-stars, 3 4-stars, and 19 3-stars, with an average of 87.19. Any coach at Tennessee should be able to recruit that well.

watching mast 5 minutes of this game. which has encapsulated our woes all year long. its poignant we went out playing same Mr Hyde basketball that just kills us.

Bone had speed and was a good FT shooter. That was about it. He wasn’t all that.

Umm 🤔, he was no crazy point scorer but he was a smart player who had speed and handles. He was also a clutch player. He averaged .465% on FG and .355 on 3s that’s pretty decent.

Keon is slightly better than Bone on stats as a Freshman so again I see where they are getting it from. But he won’t start if he goes to the draft this year. That’s my point. He needs to develop a lot more. Become more of a complete player.

I was just looking at some numbers and mock draft projections. ESPN has Keon at 6 another spot had him at 9. ESPN has Jaden at 20 and the other site had him at 10.
So if Keon goes at 6 he is looking at 26 mil, 9 is 20 mil. 3rd pick is 35 mil.
For Jaden 20 is 12.5 if he jumps up to 10 thats 19 mil.( Now one site said in a less loaded draft class he could be a top 5 pick). 5 is 29mil.
Barnes needs to hammer it home to these guys that if they stay one more year and get drafted off production instead of potential he can make them a lot of money. And for fun lets dream a second:
Chandler Vescovi Pember
Springer Bailey Tamba
Johnson James EJA( Ive heard he doesnt count because of the COVID year
Huntley-Hatfield Olivier Meshak
Kessler Uros

Top to bottom has there ever been a better roster in CBB?

Maybe you don’t know how the NBA operates. They aren’t drafting for someone to start next year. They are looking for development and then serious contribution in a couple of years.

When’s the last time Tennessee won a championship in a sport of relevance? Not talking regular season basketball I’m talking tournament? We suck at football, our prestigious women’s basketball team sucks, our basketball team never gets it done when it matters, baseball is promising but hasn’t won anything. We are a pitiful sports school. With pitiful leadership who tells on ourselves for bs because we want a coach gone. We have pitiful boosters who fight like teenage girls over what’s best for the school. Just an all around crappy place.
So sounds like your definition of relevant is the one we don’t win. We win? Not relevant. Don't win? Relevant. How convenient.
