Lots of reasons any team loses a game. It is only human nature to focus on the ending.

I've said for a long time that it was stupid to protect officials. We can criticize coaches and players but protect the officials? I agree., call.them.out, make fools of fools. If they don't like it, be better at your job. Barnes would never pay a penny. Fans would step up and take care of those fines.

Our transfers better be of higher caliber than Anosike. We have Chandler and Bailey and James if he ever gets aggressive as good pieces. Mahshack will be athletic but raw on offense. We may squeak in but Walker probably won’t contribute much in my opinion. We have zero posts worth a crap. Unless we land some surprise recruit or a good post we won’t be that good.

Barnes bringing in talent all the time-- and some of his best end up being the guys who he can coach up and stick around. (Fulky, Schofield, Williams)

Blah blah made up ceilings. Like how 2019 football would NEVER win more than 2 games after we started 0-2. 100%

Obviously NO way we can win 2 games in a row vs something like a 12 seed, then a 4 or 13 seed lol. Shoot, we just lost to a 2 seed in the last minute without one of our best players...terrible!

I don't disagree, but man he needs a blood transfusion with some of Fulky's blood. Even middle schoolers are taught to scrap and dive for balls and he seems to just stand there. Not a wholesale knock on him as a player by any means, but surely something he must be aware of.

I expect next year to be ugly as well. Its Chandler and some other guys.

This team today did not underperform. The expectations we have in basketball are BECAUSE of Rick Barnes, not in spite of him. People have to get that through their brain. We were an awful program that he took on. He is 8-6 against UK and has beaten them every year, even with below average teams. He just signed his 4th 5 Star with more to come.
