Kind of a freak ending with Gaines. In his defense, he made a great play to get the stop, and he would never have been taking a shot on the offensive end. Nobody expected him to be shooting FTs.

Kids fought hard. Just came up short. Fulky might have made a difference. Still, UT always loses to bama no matter the sport.

At least they get another day off before the NCAAT. Silver lining I suppose.

refs were bad but come on guys...the turnovers and the inability to score off turnovers is what lost us this game.

Shut your mouth. Our guys played their asses off and they had the game stolen from them by the officiating shifting the momentum. We were up by 15 until bama started flopping like fish.

Good first half. Tempo slowed and turnovers and fouls killed us. Actually feel a bit better heading to NCAA tournament. #5 or #6 seed. When we run we are a better club....pretty simple, but we don’t always play to our strengths.

Yeah I think a 5 seed is a safe bet. Losing to Bama doesn’t really hurt us especially without Fulkerson. The committee takes that into account. We also get another day of rest. There really isn’t a huge difference between 4 and 5 seeds anyway
