Florida makes me nervous because they played tonight. Hope they are cold from the floor tomorrow and we bring our A game on defense.

I have often thought that a team playing its second game in a conference tournament can come out a bit faster than the team that had a bye, at least in the first 10 minutes or so. Its the third game in three days that tends to show the fatigue.

Having said that, the fact is that UF is just not very good. We have one big guy left, Castleton, and he's not quick enough IMO. I think its close for a half but UT ends up winning pretty handily by 12 or so.

Anyone need a ticket I have a single for $50

Question for tomorrow's session. Are there any paper tickets this year? Or, is everything electronic?

I'm trying to picture buying tickets on the street using only the electronic ticket option. Seems easy tor counterfeit.

I don't think Tre Mann is the issue. He can go for 20 and Florida still lose. They are very balanced. They shot a ridiculous % I believe at the ODome. Just play TN defense, and we are in it. If Fulky stays hot against Florida and we get decent production from the guards, we win by 8 or more.

I hope you are right (obviously), but I think this game will be closer. Also, I would really like to see Tennessee get another shot at Bama to avenge their loss earlier this season and build some confidence going into the NCAA tournament.

Honestly, it depends on which Tennessee team shows up.

Fulky will need to have another big game. Victor Bailey can’t have an off day of shooting again. Springer & Johnson will get their fair share of points.

SV worries me the most when it comes to ball handling. I think Florida will pressure early on.

Defense usually rules the roost in March. We also dont have to score every possession, but cant turn it over 20 times either. Im going to say 65-53 win today.

Love tournament time but also hate that games get played in the middle of the day. I did move meetings around for today though lol
I know the feeling. I’m interviewing someone via Skype at 2:30. For his sake, I hope we are hitting our shots.

We aren't all that great either. Pound it inside get Fulky or Pons in foul trouble, game over. We have nothing behind them in post and we have no PG, which is the most critical position on the floor especially come tournament time, and yall have the better PG, and he didn't play the last time we met. Will make a huge difference today.

The NCAA tournament is all about the front court. Size and athleticism in the post is the whole game.

When Billy Donovan first came to UF I complained all the time that all he did was recruit guards, like himself. When he finally went after Forward and Center play, the program was completely different and was successful. We are going through the same thing with White, right now. These young coaches have to learn that once the tournament hits the refs let them play, because its a show case for the NBA and you have to be able to amp your game up on the inside.

Right now we have Castleton and while he can score, I just think defensively he does not have the speed or upper body strength to deal with much.

Bama killing State. Watching some Braves at spring camp before switching to VOLS. Fingers crossed we can take Florida and pay Bama back for that ugly loss In our house.
