She's Holly 2.0.
I don't believe that. Holly was always the good cop to Pat's bad cop, and couldn't make the change to be an effective head coach. In other words, a career assistant coach, Kellie's a true head coach, that knows how to run a program, correctly. Do I believe she can get the Lady Vols back to Pat's level ? No, but she will win more than Holly, especially if she can recruit like Holly did, I think she can get us back to the Final 4, maybe even win one. But, so far, she hasn't recruited to Holly's level, which shocks me, but it's been over a decade since they were great, so maybe I shouldn't be

thank you, agreed.

its time to stop comparing everyone to Pat. She was what she was.

I agree with you and I think this is how you build chemistry. Other activities might be like white water rafting over class 5 rapids, class 4 as a minimum. Group skydiving would be a good one. Maybe going on a team hike through the Amazon jungle in northern Brazil. I guess you could also do shark observations in an underwater cage. Essentially any activity that is intensely engaging and ideally I think gets the adrenaline pumping. I think those work the best. It all starts with getting out of your comfort zone. That scares some people. jmo.

I don't understand any comparison to our opponents, not that you made any yourself. I mean in 2019 Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Missouri fired their coaches. This past year in addition to us, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Auburn fired their coaches. That's 8 out of the 14 of SEC teams in the past I guess 15 months who have fired their coaches. From what I gather things are warming up in Gainesville and maybe even Athens. LSU may be looking for a new man within the next couple years. There are really only 2 safe coaches in the SEC. Fisher is probably not one of them. I think it's Saban and Stoops. Saban because he'll be there till he dies and Stoops because Kentucky fans don't really expect to do better. jmo.
Yeah it’s corny! That’s not a bad thing in of itself! The dynamic is they’re being corny TOGETHER. Whatever Saban’s Process is, it’s not all Marine Corp survival training and Viet Cong torture techniques. He was a psychology major (like Jimmy Johnson) and there’s building exercises.

One of my favorite things in the world was teaching a lady's self defense class. Fierce when they realize they can mess a dude up!
I use to have a girlfriend that was taking some sort of self defense class...she explained to me what she has learned..... I told her that it wouldn’t work unless the guy was a total wuss.... she told me to grab her from behind..... I did and she proceeded to attempt to stomp my foot for fifteen minutes....she was like well you still can’t get me to the ground... I didn’t attempt to over power.... just my finger under her nose lifted up until she was a little off balance and then gently laid her on the ground..... she was like fine.... forget it.....it was at that time I learned that the woman is always right.

Prior to the pandemic, I was taking a Taekwondo mom's class. The instructor teaches it for free to any moms that have kids in his classes. It was empowering for sure. I hope I can get back at it soon. I hate feeling insecure walking alone in a dark parking lot or unfamiliar place. It's comforting to know that I can defend myself a little now. There were some moms in my class that can kick ass.

My wife has a self defense I highly recommend. It's a Glock 26 she carries everywhere and knows how to shoot.

Hugh Hefner was also paying those same young ladies lots of money...”you can be the centerfold or on the cover. Here’s your payment, here’s your investment in your future”
It definitely wasn’t because of his personality.
True of some, but some still claim to this day they actually did love him. But the real point I was making, they were all consenting. No one was forced. Legal adults made decisions. Being an adult means making your own decisions, then living with the consequences.

Meh. I see very little difference in the holly teams and this team. Helter skelter offense.

I try daily to show my daughters that their worth does not come from the attentions of a man/boy and they should never feel that they need the attention of a man/boy to feel validated. Their worth comes from God and nowhere else. The world tells young ladies differently but I disagree with most of what the world puts out there, especially in regards to my daughters and how they should be raised.

Not @ing you. Just a subject I am particularly passionate about.
