For once, we can probably thank Fulmer's ego for something good. He wasn't about to bring in someone that might overshadow him. The Mad Hatter would certainly have done that.

I thought it was weird after such a good run to get ran out so fast. He had a great run from 2005- 2012. 2013 was ok. 2014 and 2015 he was on the chopping block and it was odd because they were #1 for awhile. Then he got fired in 2016. But now it makes sense. And I wondered why no other good jobs picked him up. He was a great choice compared to what was out there. But I bet word got around. He actually had a better run than Richt did at UGA and Fulmer. Plus won a title. BUt only lasted 12 years instead of 15 like those 2 did.
